Did anyone watch the London and Edinburgh fireworks at midnight? Both were fantastic, but London, woah, must have cost a mint, and really was great...It was never ending, they even had to skip the ending, as the news ran out off time Superb, both.
I was listening to a programme on Radio 4 about it, trying to ban them for environmental reasons. I hope it happens and they are there for public displays only.
A few years back my mates filmed a green and pink power ranger shagging in the mens toilet at 2pm in a nice family friendly pub in bath the dirty scoundrels Happy new years all
Plus you get incidents like those skycandles that burnt down a section of a zoo in Germany killing 30 apes and monkeys. ****ing horrific
#Racist Although I do agree about fireworks, ever since the turn of the millennium, they start around Diwali or Guy Fawkes, and carry on right the way through to the early hours of New Years Day. I'd hate to work in the emergency services, because I doubt they get a respite from it for two whole bloody months. I think they should just be restricted to organised and local authority approved displays, plus they frighten the shhite out of animals.
People who work for Emergency Services are far busier dealing with injuries and accidents caused by booze, than by fireworks. Fireworks are a nightmare for a lot of pet owners though. My mate has to give his bitch Valium at NYE (and his German Shepherd).
My lifelong best mate, is a senior paramedic. Some off the stories he tells me, are like horror films.
