I hope this may be helpful to any Hull supporters travelling to Derby by road for the game on 9th February, parking is available on 2 sites [100 and 400 yards from the stadium] at £6 per car/van [sorry no coaches]. Assuming that most will eventually travel via the M1, leave at JCT25 [A52] and travel towards Derby on Brian Clough Way, about 1 mile past the SPONDON/ASDA exit is the slip road to PRIDE PARK, take care as there is a traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing immediately after the sharp bend, go straight across 2 islands and past the North end of the stadium, at the 3rd island turn right into RIVERSIDE ROAD, the FRENGER SYSTEMS car park is about 60 yards on the right hand side. This car park is more suited to the elderly and less able supporters. For those who may wish to eat/drink before the game, continue along Riverside Road to the last unit on the left hand side to the PRIDE VETERINARY CENTRE car park, this handier for the away friendly hostelries [ask an attendant for details]. When leaving this car park after the game I would advise that you turn left and then left again at the first island, at the next island turn left to head towards the stadium and park in the left hand lane to await the barriers being removed when the coaches have cleared the stadium. *TAKE CARE ON THE A52 NEAR PRIDE PARK AS THERE ARE REDUCED LANES AND 40MPH SPEED CAMERAS. I hope this helps, have a safe journey.
I'm afraid so, I only live 15 minutes from the ground and it usually takes me ay least 45 minutes to get home, patience is a virgin I'm afraid.
PRIDE PARK - 18/01/20 ……………….Update information: The details above still apply however there are ongoing roadworks and redevelopments from the Pride Park slip road towards the stadium, the pedestrian controlled lights have been removed and there is now a myriad of cones and single lanes so great care should be take whilst negotiating your way towards Riverside Road. When leaving the car parks the same advice applies and you should be aware that the road at the rear of the retail park is also restricted to single lane traffic prior to reaching the A52 [Northbound]. Be prepared for delays, my normal journey home is 10-15 minutes, it was 95 minutes after the Barnsley game so always remember 'Patience is a Virgin'!
I have parked there and had a meal in Seven with one of my County mates. Its still a walk to the ground mind but not too far. There is a pedestrian gate and pay machine at the end closest too the ground. I walked through the car sales forecourts and missed out Riverside.
