Rose is so bad, is so bad he should not be playing.

He can probably still go to another club and train fully with them
(which for him is ok providing he can retain match fitness for Euro 2020) .

As I said yesterday, we need players who give a **** on the pitch: Lamela will run through a wall for the club and Lo Celso shows more in a cameo than Eriksen does in a start, so they need to be playing

Toby looked better with both Japhet and big Dave, he is getting on and needs that speedy cover. I think Maureen may have found his defence.

A lot of our problems this season can be put down to the areas of the team where players don't

Case in point, here's my take on the players who actually give a **** this season

    Goal: Lloris, Gazzaniga
    Defence: Sanchez, Foyth, Davies
    Centre midfield: Sissoko, Ndombele, Winks
Attacking midfield: Son, Lamela, Lo Celso
    Forwards: Kane

The fact that we can't field eleven players who give a **** without playing Gazzaniga at right back (which is an improvement on Aurier...) is telling

A crap first half and a decent last half hour, Lamela and Lo Celso were both good when they came on. The Pool goal came from an incorrectly given throw (how Spursy) and Robertson should have been given a red card for a leg breaking tackle, unsurprisingly though, VAR failed to even check it, it was rather conveniently swept under the carpet..... how dare they send off one of their darling`s players. We probably just about deserved a draw on balance and chances created, but missed some absolute sitters. (how Spursy). Danny Rose is a waste of a shirt and Eriksen`s lack of a tackle costs us in the middle of the park. Tanganga looked decent and had a solid debut, we may have found a player there. Hopefully Jose is learning and picks a team accordingly moving forward.

Thought Winks had a sound game against the whole of Liverpools midfield and considering that Rose and Eriksen could not find their arse with both hands
Tanganga put in a shift and had Son had his shooting boots on tonight it would have been a different result
Toby looked more comfortable with a bit of pace around him and Gazza made up for some very iffy games lately
Coco and Lo celso upped the pace later on
I never thought I would be happy with a 0-1 home loss but with our present form hey ho ,COYS

Just got home. Thought it was a good game of football and we probably could/ should have actually won it had we taken our chances.

That was more of what I’ve wanted to see from a Jose side. Tactically astute, well drilled and hit the opposition at the right times.

His only massive mistake was playing Rose, who’s ****ing dreadful and now fatter than me. Gio should have also started over Eriksen who was really poor too but I can understand playing him due to his experience and the idea of hoping he could provide creativity - he didn’t, and was rightly subbed for two players who really upped the game in our favour.

Thought Tanganga and Dave were ****ing superb whilst Dele, Lucas and Winks busted their arses and you can’t ask any more from a player than to give 100%.

If we play more like that but finish chances, we’ll do well, especially with a couple of much needed signings.

On the whole our defence turned up mainly because they knew they had to defend and not go up to the half way line. they got behind the ball.
They left the attacking to the offensive players.
We only conceded one against the leagues second highest scorers . We are used to conceding two regularly. If we continue to play like we did today we will start winning again. Oh what a feeling that used to be.
Start on Tuesday. No harm playing 3 at the back against M'borough- we have to concentrate on keeping a clean sheet. We didn't score today but that was against the leagues best defence who have only conceded 14 goals this season.

This is true. He went to the SW corner and gave his shirt to a guy with a Danish flag, it did seem like a goodbye. Shame it’s ended the way it did but what a player he’s been for us. In my top five favourites along with Ledley, Bale, Modric and Kane.

    Negatives
    1. Playing Rose...what is it with supposed top managers playing him? He ha1s been atrocious for well over 18 months!
    2. Playing Aurier...he is every bit as bad as Rose.
    3. Eriksen ... he is not a spurs player so stop playing him. He is not trying...look at the difference in his performances to Ramsey at Arsenal...it is shocking tbh.
    4. This is our 3rd game in 5 where we failed to score.
    5. Yet another failure to keep a clean sheet.
    6. We have now won just one match in the last 6.

    Positives
    1. We weren't battered.
    2. Tanganga's league debut.
    3. The back three of Tanganga, Sanchez and Alderweireld.
    4. We created some very good chances against the best team in Europe.
    5. Lamela being fit again and playing well.
    6. Our second half performance.
    7. We began to look like a team in the second half.

Allow me to disagree. Nowhere near my top 10. Imo alot of the good things he has done over the last few years were covering for the average he did.
For years now we have not seen the best of him on a regular basis unless he was wearing a Danish shirt. Not clearing the first man from his set pieces didn't start this season.
If he was that good, RM or Barca would have tried to get him years ago. They are not even trying now , and Inter are hardly Europe's finest- they are even after Ashley Young.

I would only disagree with you in comparing Aurier to Rose. Rose is very poor indeed Aurier is trying; his positional sense is awful but the cross he put in for LolCelso was brilliant. He has some technical abilities just no football brain. Rose seems to have lost any abilties that he had, it appears that he can't pass a football or judge how hard to kick it. He is no longer at PL level.
