Pedulla is Tier 3. Tier 2 on a good day. Waiting for a Tier 1. But this does seem to be gathering pace now. €15m plus €5m in bonuses.

Pedulla is Tier 2 for Inter...which is pretty good, given Tier 1 is Inter's Twitter feed

    He's got company, too...

But the most compelling so far is...

Oh, but I bring more gifts...

    Piatek Watch
So his father's bemoaned his status as a reserve to the Polish press (in a site that gave Norton a ****ing heart attack the second I clicked on it...) and stated that he's ready to leave Milan if he gets a good offer

Also, somehow, FootballDotLondon are talking about a deal worth £23.8M, which is pretty much a bargain in this day and age

Barca’s made an enquiry for Eriksen.

Hopefully either convinces Inter to hurry up and pay or potentially get a deal done quickly enough with the Spaniards.

I know there’s a lot of hate for Eriksen at the moment but I’d like it if he got a move to Barca, feel he’s a player that deserves to be at the very top. Inter would still be a decent move for him, especially while Conte is doing good work there, but Barca are Barca.

Why wouldn't Barca offer CE 5 million now to sign in the summer for zilch which would turn over Inter and DL

Arthur’s had an injury and Frenkie has had an up and down debut season so far, Rakitic is listed for sale too so they might want to get someone in now rather than waiting til the summer. He’s a perfect “Barcelona player” too - technical and creative.

Bournemouth joining Newcastle and Watford in the race for Rose apparently.

We might actually have a bidding war for him... incredible.

Sky reporting none of them are interested unless it's a loan. Completely understandable.

Makes Pochettino's and Southgate's obsession in playing the mars bar chomping clown look even more bizarre.

If I was Eriksen, this is what I'd be doing. I'd be looking to see out my deal. Whatever a club pays by way of a transfer fee, is likely to be largely knocked off what they pay him in wages/signing on fee if he goes on a Bosman.

Barring a 'now or never' offer from Barca this month, he's likely just going through the motions with a move in January, to keep people off his back. Getting this close to being a free agent and chucking it in makes no sense, surely?

I'm not sure money motivates him that much. Financially (I believe) his best option would have been to sign with us. If he's happy with what Inter have offered then why not get on with it. Gives him time to get to know his teammates ahead of the big push next year.

Yeah I definitely think the same.

If money was a real motivator for Eriksen then I think he would've probably asked to leave Spurs around the 16/17 season, he'd helped us finish second, won our POTY for the second time and was earning a wage that someone playing for a side in 10th could've earnt.

We've actually been quite lucky in a sense that most of our key players have stayed for quite a good length of time. When we go back to Modric, four seasons with us and wanted out the year before to join Chelsea. Bale was here for about six years, had two good seasons and then one elite season, wanted out after that. Berbatov had two seasons, wanted out. We've had Lloris, Vertonghen, Toby, Eriksen, Dele, Son and Kane (plus Dembele) all for between five and eight years and for the most part they've been fantastic. Sooner or later I think we'll have to prepare for possibly both Son and Kane wanting out , I think we can keep them this summer but next summer I wouldn't be too confident. Only real downer of it all is that this side never won anything, had so much quality but just typical Spurs that mental block kicked when it really mattered, whether it be in the title race, FA Cup semis or the CL final.

There are some reports saying Willian Jose could be a Spurs player today.
There are other reports saying Willian Jose won't be a Spurs player today.

Transfer windows, what a time to be alive.

Eriksen also had the opportunity to leave Ajax on a free and signed an extension so that they'd get a fee, IIRC.
I could be wrong, but I don't think that he's the burning bridges type.

I haven't been impressed with the Dane's form for some time, but the reaction from some of our crowd to him coming on was poor.
I think that it's very much time for him to leave.

This will be his last really big contract. His agent may be reminding him of that.

Fair play to him if he passes it up...I wouldn't at this point.

One thing I'm wondering is whether or not we'll actually be loaning anyone out by the end of the month

On the face of it you'd think we'd have been touting around Carter-Vickers and Georgiou after reclaling them, but other than a passing rumour of Derby looking to sign CCV there's complete radio silence about either of them (while Sterling's basically a write-off this season thanks to Doncaster misdiagnosing a leg injury as a dead leg before exacerbating it by having him return to training)

Similar can be said at various players at the top of the U23 pile, like Eyoma, Oakley-Boothe, Whiteman and Austin, while for the players in the first team/U23 limbo the talk about Walker-Peters is he's leaving on a permanent while The Pathetic keep saying Skipp will be loaned while pretending they weren't saying that back in the summer (so that subscription fee looks like good value, doesn't it?)

Somehow the only talk about a loan is us shifting Danny Rose out the door in a way that doesn't give anyone a hernia, while Wanyama has been generating as much interest as an evening with Eric Olthwaite so there's not even the suggestion we could be loaning him out
