Reported. You're randomly insulting people because you've lost your argument ... ... which is typical of you.
absolutely, beyond pathetic. I don't know how @Comfy will deal with my harsh words that he is not a great man. I should have reported the post you edited telling some to **** off and die. How about that? Aye mate, you're arguing against a piece of paper, not me. If you reckon you've won that argument, then you're beyond help.
Anyway KM, so say we believe they can’t talk to anyone, where has Charlie said they are talking to a number of people? There is a third outcome though, obviously they could agree he can talk but can’t sell. If he gets a better offer, they could still step in. But they are already 10mill ahead, so if he sold to someone else that needs to be paid. Although Madbob has said he hasn’t touched it yet, which seems rather strange, yet believable.
Yep, I agree, this is literally what I said in the post that kicked off whatever the hell that was I hope you can look back on my responses and see that I've tried to answer. Methven said it on the radio interview last week. It'd be nigh on impossible - if FPP had not given consent - for them to deny they were attempting to sell the club, as both he and Donald have said variations of it over the last month.
I’m taking no sides, I just can’t make head nor tail what is going on, if I’m honest, just pissed off with it all, cos it looks like a massive opportunity has been missed. Now we have academy appointments apparently, so why would SD invest in that, but not the first team, ****ing baffled
Yeah I have my own personal thoughts about it but one of the more confusing elements for everyone is that there are still a lot of options on the table. Even if FPP said 'you can talk to others about selling the club to them' they could still gazump them once they figured out the top of the current market. Flip-side is they could literally walk away and we never hear from them again. I think it's worth preparing for the idea that Donald will sell to someone else and that FPP will be paid back. The fact we haven't spent anything on transfers yet, the fact they're openly talking about their negotiations with other interested parties, and the fact that Donald has said that he doesn't believe they want to buy us would seem like pretty compelling reasons to not get carried away with the idea of them taking a majority until we see a new and strong sign otherwise.
It's a lovely piece of paper but it doesn't back up what you're saying ... ... you've become the Neville Chamberlain of Not606
Yes very good, interesting the bits you didn't quote there. It does prove what I'm saying. What do you think it means?
So Donald can talk to other interested parties But he cannot negotiate a sale without FPP approval, unless he pays back the 'loan/investment' to FPP first. Given it appears he has spent none of the loan/investment money to date, I presume he can pay this back if he thinks he's getting a better offer.
He can negotiate a sale without the consent of FPP ... ... he just can't complete the sale unless he pays them off or they agree the sale. It's like you negotiating the purchase of a house, you can't complete until the building society agrees it. Otherwise you can use your own money to pay off your mortgage and do whatever you like.
If it’s true the will be Two new academy appointments, surely if the were in talks to sell the club the wouldn’t be making decisions like that?
It’s very strange, you don’t make decisions like that if your in talks to sell the club unless it’s already nearly done
As I’ve posted over the road, maybe they have given SD the opportunity to put his **** right with the 10mill and then give him his asking price. Strange how this is long term, yet the short term ie investment in this team is lacking. Nothing should surprise or baffle me with this club, but I continue to be so
The re-appointment of McNamee sounds like exactly the backwards step, cheap option type of move that Donald would make to me.
ok, I've just re-read this thread / the agreement extracts and this makes more sense, and what I first thought.
