All city supporters going to the game tomorrow have a great day . I have a sneaking feeling we may get a win or a draw tomorrow . ( I hope ) I will listen on the Radio while wearing one of my city shirts and be hoping city knock Chelsea out There is hope Seen Scarborough FC knock chelsea out of the league cup at the seamer road ground in the 80s when Scarborough was division 4 and Chelsea was top or second top of division 1 (One of the only times I had been to a Scarborough game before 3 years ago) FINGERS CROSSED everyone on here .x
I was in the Kempton the last time we beat Chelsea in 1988. Low but noisy home crowd and the Kempton had a huge hand in the final result. We intimidated the Chelsea centre half, forget his name but he was a big clumbersome ****er, by jeering every time he hoofed the ball up field or missed a tackle. Keith Edwards was running him ragged. In the second half the daft twat floored Edwards in the box, the Kempton howled and the ref pointed to the spot and sent the dumb ****er off. He left the field sulking and gave a V sign to the jeering and waving East Stand. More of that today chaps.
Me too. A very enjoyable evening if my memory serves. I went to a few Scarboro games when they first got into Div 4 including Wolves when the wolves fan climbed on the away end roof and fell through it. I think they took the roof off that end so it didn't happen again. It never rains in Scarborough...
We don’t want any of that sort of thing. We should sit quietly enjoying the game and appreciate good play whoever it is from and warmly interact with any Chelsea fans in the home areas. Leave that sort of partisanship to the likes of other clubs.
Forgot to add that on Look North's feature last night they did highlight the plasticity controversy raging on social media - and quite right too. Good to see some self-awareness of ourselves as a club, and the fickleness of a section of the Hull public. The wise insights of Bobbi Hardgraft were valuable also.
After drawing Manchester United in the 4th round of the FA Cup, disappointed Tranmere Rovers supporters are hoping they get a big team in the 5th round...
A good reminder to get there early to take account for people who have seemingly never been to a football match or scanned a ticket in their lives
Less than 7,000 there. Some who are keen fans since the move to the KC had different priorities then.
