... despite being one of the shortest. It'll be tough but we have 4 home games from 5 after the weekend. We recently hammered the league leaders so shouldn't have any fear and seem to be playing better against teams to try to play football ... ... I'm not sure how much football Portsmouth play tbh but Ipswich and Oxford play a reasonably open style. Just for fun, and based on another player coming in, I'm going for ... 0-0 draw Portsmouth 1-1 draw Ipswich 3-1 win Rochdale 2-3 loss Oxford 6-0 win Bristol 3-1 win Fleetwood That's only 11 points, from a possible 18, but it's also depriving points from Coventry and Ipswich. There are lots of 'six pointers' between the top teams, not least our game at Rotherham, so it could all keep changing between now and then.
It pains me to say it but I think Portsmouth will mark the end of our clean sheets, and as much as Id like to say we can beat them, this may be 3 points to the south coast. This will hopefully spur us on for a tight win against Ipswich and Ill go for a draw with Oxford away. Smug.. think you need to check your maths
Been looking at teams above and games to play but I'm just going to take each game as they come. I'm trying to keep a lid on my excitement levels until hopefully the right time comes along for euphoria
Have you been on their forum We may as well need to stay at home we have no chance And we all know what happens when fans think like that
You may be right but a few weeks back I would have been not too optimistic about our chances at Pompey. I think we have a settled team and what seems a much more dependable back 4. A draw would be a canny result for us I think.
2-1 win Portsmouth 1-1 draw Ipswich 2-0 win Rochdale 1-1 draw Oxford 3-0 win Bristol 2-1 win Fleetwood 14 points
Spread the load and win the game, defend for 45 mins, with a counter attack option, rest Wyke and Dobson, bring on Lafferty second half and hammer them. OaU.
1-1 draw Portsmouth 2-0 win Ipswich 3-0 win Rochdale 0-0 draw Oxford 4-1 win Bristol 17-1 win Fleetwood 14 points 24+ goal difference Joey Barton is discombobulated in the extreme, adopts permanent, ridiculous faux-French speech coupled with unwashed trawlerman attire
I'd love that, it would be a terrible result for them. Portsmouth are shabby ... ... shabby town, ground and supporters. It has great history, architecture, etc but they've made the whole place so scruffy. There must be backhanders going to someone to allow that ground to be used, disgraceful.
Just had a few glasses of port, don't know whether to laugh or cry, going for the celebratory 18 pointer. Hawaaayyy let's party with Parky
Portsmouth match will be a cup final I reckon. If that goes well with the wind behind us I think we could nick a few results. 2-3 away win Portsmouth 1-0 home win Ipswich 2-1 home win Rochdale 2-0 away loss Oxford 2-0 home win Bristol 1-1 draw Fleetwood
1 point down, too. I'm cool with that, esp after a big shift through the gears second half yesterday. Could have been 2 or 3 nowt bar the wooden stuff
