If we are being serious about this window, why aren't we being linked with players like Aiden McGeady ? He was possibly the best player in League one last season (after Cullen) and Sunderland want to sell him #cafc

 

It’s not a bad short term signing. Unless he gets injured, I can’t see a down side.

 

I'd put this down as a very good potential signing. I believe his contract runs out in the summer so there is something for him to prove, and he was very good for Sunderland. besides, Bowyer and Gallen have made very few false steps in the transfer market, and the training team are working miracles with what they get out of our squad so I reckon he'll be a very good addition.
Hearing that Maddison is going to Hull on loan with an option to buy. Could have been a good signing for us, but genuinely didn't sound like he wanted to come, so no sleep lost there.

 

It's a decent signing as an addition up front, not so much if he replaces Taylor.

 

And he was very verbal about Rangers not paying Tax - and then did it himself

I thought Brentford were saying they couldn't meet our valuation of 4m for Taylor. be a shame if they cough up the cash - we'll be scrambling for a replacement.

Wouldn't it be great if we refused until we had a cast iron replacement signed up, the way every club does to us in january!!
