There are stupid people who think this and articulate it and are motivated by it to support UKIP etc and then there are those that think it but deny it but are motivated by it and they are called ****ing Tory bastards.
Dear God, I know there are Neanderthals that think like that but advertising your ignorance is pitiful. Immigration was a major issue in the vote. Immigration is not the problem, uncontrolled immigration is an issue. I repeat, not all Leavers think like this.
Yet again you are tarring all Tories with the same brush. I could just as easily tar all Labour voters as anti Jewish or members of a Corbyn cult. All the insults thrown about just muddy the waters and inflame prejudices.
Where did I say that? Read what I wrote again before you comment on my ignorance. The Leave vote gave rise to an increase in racist activity, from Tommy Robinson hitching his wagon to UKIP to posters like in the one in question, of that there can be no doubt. And I’ll think you’ll find that there will be no decrease in immigration henceforward, but a definite increase in people coming in from the Middle and Far East and the Indian subcontinent. That will please whatever fraction of Leave voters who were racially motivated no end, I’m sure.
I was referring to the ignorance of the poster writer. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.See how easy it is for messages to get muddled.
I can't stand Tories as they are all about excuses. We can't spend money on the poor because {insert lie about austerity to replace their general belief that poor people should work harder}. We can't increase taxes for the rich because {insert economic argument to hide truth about being greedy}. We need to protect inheritance because {insert lie about having earned all your cash when the truth is you got lucky on house prices and **** the younger generations}. So, are Tories racist scum? Nope. They are selfish pricks who like to lie about things to hide their selfishness. Or, sometimes they are just too scared of the world and change to vote any different. One thing is sure, I have never met a Tory who I would describe as a compassionate and selfless human being. No offense! Haha
Corbyn may have been anti Jewish but he didn't put any bigotry into his manifesto or spew it on stage. Tories did, Tories ran on it, Tories spewed it. If you voted Tory you voted for the watermelon smiles etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.
Immigration control or lack of it has been the fault of successive governments. Many EU nations implement a directive along similar lines to the rule here in The Netherlands I.E. after 3 months register showing means of support financial, housing and healthcare such that there would be no burden on the state. Non EU up to the national government of individual member state. It isn't the EU that caused the perceived problem! The leave lies and deceit re immigration E.G. Turkey joining the EU and floods of Turks coming to UK and posters of marching immigrants plus the inflammatory rhetoric of Johnson and Farage etc. that led to the increase racial hatred and crime. NB EU immigration is less than 25% of the overall number. https://fullfact.org/immigration/eu-migration-and-uk/
I have. I was a Labour councillor for many years and I got on extremely well with three. The main one was a Ken Clark style very pro European chap and when we used to do tours of the area for planning we always sat together. A lot of my ex Labour colleagues bought in to Corbynism. That went well didn't it?
In 2015 the country could see just how much harm was being done to the poor and the disabled as a direct result of a needless austerity policy. By 2017 and 2019 the impact on the above was even more clear and still the same people voted for it to continue. The attitude seems to be “if it doesn’t affect me then why should I try to stop it.” It’s this lack of humanity that concerns me. But it’s the ones that recognise the damage that has been done, and then actively promote the Tory party that I reserve my contempt for.
Corbynism hasn't led to 1000s of poor/ill people dying, caused Windrush or covering up Grenfell. People like to moan about Corbyn and I wasn't really a fan. But anything is better than the Tories, even the Libs. The election just proved this country would rather **** on immigrants and not care what it does to their fellow Brits.
But it's arguable that Corbyn has led to a Tory government with an 80 seat majority. It was well within his powers had he unequivocally backed Remain in 2016 to swing enough votes to have changed that result. What we saw on Friday was a direct result of Corbyn's actions.
No point in going over what has happened. We have to look to the future and to make the best of what we have. Work out ways to fight back against the corrupt financial and political elite. Maybe this kind of thing will start spreading if there are enough people here with a heart for the poor: https://www.leftvoice.org/the-robin...gy3wc20CR0ILd0F4KnQRqaFGGGuZvmxtVltDhH-x_APUk
