Seems they are in serious danger of doing the double drop, having been relegated from the Premiership last season. Obvious threat from them is from Karlan Grant, who has 13 goals so far this season...so 2 more than our top scorer (that still plays for us) Hugill, who has 11. We'll be hoping to bounce back after a disappointing home loss to Bristol City as, realistically, we now don't really have much to play for during the rest of the season...which, to be honest, I am quite happy with. At one point I was worrying we'd be dragged down the table, but that hasn't happened...but we haven't been consistent enough this year to mount any sort of climb towards the playoffs. Team news QPR: Geoff Cameron (suspended), Charlie Owens (knee). Huddersfield: Kamil Grabara (head), Jonathan Hogg (hamstring).
Slim chance I might get to this as another grandchild due any day in Manchester. If I find myself up North over weekend, I might excuse myself for a bit!
They were cr2p most of the season but recently won away at Hull. The thing that worries me most is that they are only 6 points behind us (3 if the beat us)... that is not good as they in that relegation area.

Clive's preview which highlights the parts of Les Ferdinand's interview with the evening standard that wasn't widely reported......in his opinion we're around 18 months to 2 years away from being competitive again.......first time that a timescale has been mentioned by club... https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/51913/the-end-of-the-tunnel--preview
By all accounts after they went 3-0 down at the Ruperts last week they fairly outplayed them for the rest of the match and were unlucky to lose. They've still got some of their Premier League players so another tough afternoon in prospect. My late brother-in-law lived there in the 90s, the town is a shytehole but drive 15 minutes away from their ground and you're out in stunning countryside up by Emley Moor, that might be a better choice today...
FFP is the unfunniest joke of the century. In reality, we are still the only club that has been punished (Brum's was also unfunny). I am really looking forward to other clubs getting whacked: but they probably won't!
Barbet being back is a positive. Amos retaining his place for another 62 minutes of nothing isn’t. Unfortunate that Shodipo is the one to lose out on the bench but Pugh is clearly having an illicit affair with Warburton.
