Has Bielsa ever bought a player in Jan that's gone straight in? I remember we spent £7m on Bamford, but it was weeks before he got the chance. Poveda might be the exception (ish), given his tactical education at ManC. Did you read that article from Moscow White (in YEP) that I posted today? It goes a long way to describing how it all works. He's not critical, I might add. Worth a read.

Sorry, OLOF, shouldn't have left you out. You shouldn't have posted your photie though - Minxy will be getting all moist at your nipple showing. <whistle>

Morning Jock. Also underlines what I’ve been saying, they shouldn’t be on social media. Like it or not, there will always be idiots posting stuff and nobody can control that. They do it for attention and every time someone comments on their drivel, it I only serves to highlight that post and it grows legs. There have been two disgusting examples in the previous week and I don’t know if you saw them. One was a video clip from a Leeds “fan” which was a compilation he had done of a selection of Bamford misses, the second a video of Kikos blunders. Needless to say, both posts generated much comment. I didn’t mainly because it would only draw attention to The sick videos for anyone following me.It’s the way of twitter, you put something there and it’s there forever. Unfortunately even the brain dead have access to it. Here’s the good side, big Kev has been tweeting since joining and has got a fantastic welcome from fans but over the top stuff like they can’t wait to see him banging in the goals or his fist hat trick. Already creating added unnecessary pressure before he’s even kicked a ball. Partly generated by him being on twitter. A section of those will yen proceed to abuse him if he misses a couple. Therefore once again, I say the players should be banned from it immediately. At this point of the season, I can’t stress it enough

Easy solution, Players don't go on twitter. I've stopped reading the ****e on twatter, but Dorigo and the like must remember that the supporters are entitled to their opinion. Bamfords recent celebrations don't help the matter either. <ok>

And I can’t make the point enough, he shouldn’t be on twitter. If he’s bored, go out and kick a ball against his garden she’s or something. Btw instagram and Facebook no better

And I can't make this point enough only dickheads and imbeciles are on twitter saying things that, in the real world, they wouldn't dare say.

Correct but internet cant be controlled so only other option is to keep players away from it if they haven't the sense to see the pitfalls themselves

The Internet shouldn't be controlled but people should be subject to the same libel laws as any other writer.

I think they may be but how can you enforce it if say a poster is in China for example. Imagine cost of following that legal case

You wouldn't need to lock many up to make the point. This ability to denigrate somebody with no consequence really has to stop

But that would mean every country would have to have same laws. For eg, if someone in China libels me in Ireland, whose law applies. Do I bring him to court here, do I travel to China and all the costs involved and if a prosecution is successful, who jails him, Ireland or China. We struggle to jail people here for murder ffs

Nah, jail's too good for them. I'd give them a minimum sentence of three years watching Millwall games. <whistle>
