I saw that the coventry manager andy thorn said that we were the best team they have played against so far. so if we can carry on in that form then there is no reason why we cant get the 3 points, i'm going for a 2-1 victory with goals from jimmy and scotland. come on boys, 3 points here and we are in a very different position, looking up not down!

    Think we'll draw this 1-1.

If it was at Portman Road I'd be very confident of 3 points but our home form isn't the greatest.

We should have a strong side out though, I'm guessing:

    ---------------Ikeme-----------------
    -------Bates--McManus--Williams----------
    Hoyte----------------------------Bennett
    -------Robson--Bailey--Haroun--------
    ---------McDonald--Emnes----------

I reckon we will play 4-5-1 with a lineup a bit like this.

    -----------Stockdale---------------
    Edwards--Ingi----Collins----Cresswell
    ---Bullard----Leadbitter---Andrews--
    Carson--------------------------JET
    ----------Chopra-------------------

As for the score, Chops is due a goal so i'm going for 2-3 to ipswich with chopsx2 and JET. With McDonald and Haroun scoring for the Boro.

Guru - I can't see PJ dropping Bowyer or Scotland (And I defiantly don't want to see Scotland dropped after his performance against Cov), so I'm expecting an unchanged line up. The only exception to this would be if Sonko isn't fit, then I think Ingi will come in.

I don't want to see Scotland dropped because i thought he was close to Man of the match on Monday. But i think if we play so narrow their wing backs could stop cressy and edwards from getting forward.

    Completely agree.

I prefer including JET + Carson on paper, however if we drop Scotland after how well he played on Monday if I was Jason I would request a move for sure. He simply HAS to start tomorrow !

Carson doesn't deserve a start at present, and JET isn't properly fit. Them two both have work to do... !

Please don't get me wrong, I think Scotland should start, its just the side that i think PJ will start with. Hopefully if he does start with the same formation the 4 central midfielders will over run a strong looking boro midfield, and contradicting what i said about the wide areas, if the boro full-backs don't get forward then that can only be good for edwards and cressy.

I'm more confident after seeing Boro's home record and their potentia line up. Just like against Cov our full backs are going to have loads of space to attack Boro's full backs. I know I'm biased but going forward I think we have the best full backs in the league (maybe not so great defending) and we should make the most of that against Boro.

I'm changing my prediction to 2-0 to Town (as long as Delaney doesn't start!)

He doesn't deserve a start as we won the last game.

Also, Jewell stated he wasn't remotely impressed with the condition Carson turned up with for pre season, and his contract demands.

He needs to get his head down before he deserves to start - last start away at Peterborough, he was rightly taken off at half time ( someone HAD to be due to the red ) but until that point had offered nothing going forwards.

Good point for both teams then. I think your lads did enough to just deserve to win it, had the better chances of the match. One of those days where we just couldn't really get going which is a credit to how well you lads played and were set up.

Looking on the bright side from our point of view: still the only unbeaten team in the league, 3rd cleansheet in a row and are 2nd in the league. This is a match we'd have lost a year ago.

Best of luck to you lads besides when we play you at your place. You have a good squad and Chopra/Scotland seem to be forming a decent strike partnership... I'd be shocked if the rumours of Scotland joining us on loan next week are true.

More than happy with a point, a few weeks back we'd have lost 10 . 0 . We are starting to look like a decent team , well done Mr PJ.....
