Watching Locke & Key on Netflix, it has only just come on. First episode is a bit slow, but the next two were much better. Worth a watch. There are 10 episodes n the first series.

My Mrs liked that. I thought it was contrived crap aimed at bored housewives.

A few have told me to watch it but I agree with you based on the trailer. I'm not watching it.

Who do you trust on here in taste? I enjoyed the first 2 episodes. Watched 3 more last night and it's tailed off somewhat.

The fact that you are saying it has tailed off is telling, looks like a mess of a programme.

One more episode of Locke & Key to go. It has been watchable, but I understand the original graphic novel books were much darker. Written by Joe Hill, who is Stephen King's son but he did not want to trade on his Dad's reputation.

Recent tv I've enjoyed to different levels ...

Good Omens on BBC is pretty good fantasy stuff
That SAS show on C4 is good go to reliable entertainment
Ottoman Rising on Netflix is an excellent docu-drama
The last episode of Inside No 9 continues the excellent standard set by the first one, just very disturbed, darkly, sick funny stuff

Also watched Parasite which just won best film at the Oscars. It was an impressive and very enjoyable, slickly made film, although certain parts I found slightly grating and a bit naff

And I am actually, finally done with The Walking Dead. That show should've been killed off and put out of it's misery long ago. I stuck with it up to the end of last year for some reason but I've just ceased to care now. That said it did feel like it was improving but it leaves no impression on me whatsoever as drama anymore and hasn't really for a long time except in the odd rare moment
