By the end of the season how many minutes will Bowen have spent on the pitch as a PL player?

Think they’ve bought him as insurance for if they go down
The likes of Anderson etc will all leave
While they’ll have a proven goal scorer for the championship

Snodgras injured tonight so Bowen will start on Saturday and keep his place to the end of the season...not sure how many minutes that will be.

I think that's now 9 Premier League games that Bowen has taken part in and the team he's played for have lost every one.

Good game to watch that, W Ham looked better than the table suggests and L'pool looked vulnerable, they missed Henderson imo.

He only needs 2 more games to match the worst PL run of 11 games. Which I think is currently held by Sean Thornton at Sunderland.

Have to admit, I was a little bit gutted when Bowen missed that chance last night, I really hope he makes it in the PL, would be a real ****ter to see him back in the Championship next season

    Jack Rodwell did 39.

    From BBC Sport:
Jack Rodwell has won a Premier League match in which he has started for the first time in 1,370 days.

The Sunderland midfielder, 25, played in a 4-0 win at Crystal Palace, three years, eight months and 29 days after starting in a Manchester City victory.

Rodwell's winless run of 39 matches stretches back to a City win over West Brom on 7 May 2013 and includes 37 games since he joined the Black Cats.

But it was not all good news as he came off injured after half-time.

Rodwell joined Sunderland for £10m in August 2014 and while he has tasted victory a handful of times in cup competitions and when coming on off the bench, his unwanted record of failing to win in the league when starting has become well publicised.

The previous longest winless Premier League run belongs to three men - ex-Derby players Darren Moore and Kenny Miller, along with former Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton.

I think Rodwell and I remember the 'hand of God' goal that he scored against us in 14/15 - cost us two points, we were relegated by three but .... he's still fiddling, oxygen thieving, robbing a living from football, ****er.
