Ive not been going as long as many on here as I’m only 28 but I do understand the points RR makes even though we all like to take the piss and wind him up on occasions, I mean yes we’ve lost our last two games against the top two but the fact we didn’t even compete against Leeds was the most frustrating part, I mean one shot on target in both games is really pathetic and unacceptable, I don’t mind losing games but sitting through a lot of games under LJ where we don’t compete half the time is really frustrating and I can understand the knee jerk reactions of many especially at home when we have 20,000+ City fans in attendance we deserve to see our team play much better than we have over the last few years especially at home.
Lets be honest, even the most hard core of City fans loyalists didn't expect us to get anything from Leeds away or at home to West Brom so was anyone really surprised, other than the one sided performances ? One disappointing aspect of this season is the continued indifferent home form, and the throwing away of several winning positions against teams we should arguably be beating, which would ease the pressure on some players and the Coach. But at the end of the day, we've no divine right to play in any particular league.
I agree RR, I understand and agree with you, I’m just saying be careful what you wish for, I remember Stoke getting rid of Pullis , despite being PL for several seasons under him and relatively safe, because they were bored with his type of football, now look at them, I know it’s a balance , but we aren’t entitled to anything , and to have these last few years of progression is pretty good, so let’s just be a bit patient and see what happens
