    Goal: 2-1 (Diedhiou)
City back in this... Diedhiou heads in after a Weimann cross is headed at goal by Dasilva.

Garbage result and apparently a garbage display. Where's the reaction?

    Not good enough.

Must have been the Spanish sunshine Rod.
The first 10 minutes 2nd half City were good but honestly City look so brittle. Clumsy body check from Baker and City were gone. Huddersfield, with any justice, could/should have scored 5.
Ridiculous misses by Huddersfield kept the scoreline respectable.
Shame with Preston getting beat and others having a game in hand.

Such depressing viewing, no forward movement, sideways backwards, feel sorry for the strikers, Messi would not do any better in this team!

Watched the second half from my bedroom.
We looked ok as Redprintt said for the first 10-15 mins of the second half, but our passing was woeful under any pressure from Huddersfield. We gave the ball away so much it was embarrassing. Huddersfield weren’t much better- but they WERE better and deserved their win.
We are STILL static off the ball and failing to win the 50-50 battles. Getting caught in possession too. Poor all round apart from Bentley as usual.
I thought Weimann made a slight positive difference when he came on - maybe dropping him to fit Wells in was a mistake? Either that or we are missing Brownhill.

I was saying to my son; I almost wish that results had NOT gone our way tonight because it just keeps the agony going.

Selection and tactics is down to LJ and sorry but he got it wrong tonight. however, bad passing and finishing, lazy 50-50s and giving fouls and penalties away is down to individual errors and they were ALL guilty of that.
I’ll post with my recommendation tomorrow when I e calmed down.

Bad result, beaten by a bottom 6 side, it's embarrassing, it makes me wonder what Steve Lansdown must be thinking, he is a fan and is being let down just like the rest of us, LJ has his support but we are failing, it's not working, where do we go next?

I know it doesn't help or make it right, but Brentford lost to bottom 2 club Luton tonight....The championship is becoming a lottery!!

I don't want to be all doom and gloom but there's no getting around it, that was absolutely dreadful.

We also have the best squad I've ever known us have in my lifetime. It's infuriating.

We have not replaced Pack and it is showing especially now Brownhill has left

We have been papering over the cracks for a while now. Even when we won 4 out of 5 recently we were poor and were only playing bottom sides. We can only win by 1 goal, sometimes 2 goals, but seem to lose by 2, 3 or more to regularly. This is an expensively assembled defensive that have allowed an alarming amount of goals in!

The problem does seem to be our centre midfield, and we've seemingly messed it up for ourselves. Adam Nagy was probably the guy meant to replace him properly, but if you listen to the rumours he's playing while injured which isn't exactly ideal. Smith has been out for most of the season, Palmer is too attacking to be a Pack replacement - that leaves us relying on Henriksen who has only just joined, and the 18 year old Massengo who is clearly going to be class, but is probably burnt out or still adjusting following his good start.

It's too late now and they're probably not quite there yet, but it does beg the question, should we have kept hold of either Walsh or Morrell for the second half of the season?
