Since the start of 2016/17, only three players have had 6+ shots vs Liverpool in a league game:
    Harry Kane (22/10/17) • 7 shots • 2 on target • 2 goals
    Salomón Rondón (04/05/19) • 6 shots • 4 on target • 1 goal
    Ismaïla Sarr (29/02/20) • 6 shots • 3 on target • 2 goals

Deeney should have had a red card, don't they mean Lovren?

I have this book "Watford on this Day" which lists notable events on every day of the year. There is now another entry for 29 February!
It was a very sporting game, no cards of any colour and I thought the ref was good apart from letting Lovren off several times for bear hugging Troy.
VAR not obviously used but perhaps it should have been on the Delo incident and on Lovren as above.
Klopp was also a gentleman who went over to Nigel and Craig a few minutes from the end and shook their hands.
I am amazed we only had 29% possession, seriously?
NP had a smile on his face too!
I hope Delo is not too bad.
It is nice to feel so good.

No...definitely not, I cannot believe that VAR didn't look at it AND no action was taken.

Must add the crowd were excellent and the Liverpool supporters singing at the end commendable. Reminded me of our support at the end of the cup final.

Great game, it matched the superb goats cheese salad with a glass of house red in the Barracuda pre game. The match day experience at the Vic is so much better than in previous decades. Well done Pozzos.

Did anyone notice Foster pushing the person in the wheelchair across the turf to be introduced to the players, great guy. Watford remain THE family club, no barriers to inclusivity.

There will always be a mistimed tackle or two in every game when you look at the speed of the game today. I don't think that many of them are designed to injure opposition players, but it does happen, and with some players trying to fool refs when almost no contact is made it does make it a very hard job. I thought that Michael Oliver got it about right yesterday, and didn't see anyone trying to pull the wool over his eyes. Maybe the players know which refs you can and cannot fool. If refs made as many mistakes as players do we might complain more.

Thanks but I think we’ve had it, never expected great things, went up a year too early.
    Good luck.

That's just a big CB winning a physical battle mate, there is nothing in it. Nobody wants to see serious injury's but they will happen.
Any news on Deulofeu? Waiting for scan results I guess.

Troy Deeney has revealed that last week Nigel Pearson took the squad to a local gym to do yoga and have a spa day to 'clear their minds'.

Clearly he pushes Delo, which initiates the abnormal body movement and means the knee is forced to buckle.
It's not physical battle when you push, that is a foul!!
