Jeez, stop with the ****in ellipsis Cup runs ain't shirt sighting, it's a **** season where we'll just about stay up, the cup run is the only thing that stops it being wrist slashing.
Don't take the bait. He's gonna repeat this same line again and again and again until we are eliminated. Then he will find a new line to repeat again and again. He's absolutely loving all this.
People call me out and I reply! They usually get arsy not me. It takes two . Come may i will be saying I told you so btw.
And so, not one mention of the possession stats, or the attempts on goal. Instead it's the same tired old bollocks wheeled out every time it's not 3 points. Why don't all you Bruce haters and/or Rafa cum sluts, Just stick(if you will pardon the pun) to the fantasy threads like the Saudi takeover, or create a new one to discuss how different it would have been if Rafa was here? Those of us not in either of those camps, can then enjoy some of the other threads. For someone who was going to wait until May, you must have diahorrea Captain. You just can't stop yourself can you? I hope we see pretty much the same team on Tuesday for the new formation to jell a bit. This cup run has added so much excitement.
Post New Thread. The button is freely available for you to create your thread of positivity. it was better, but it’s like saying amputation is better than death. Neither are very palatable. Hopefully it will improve because passion and excitement are very much absent under Ashley and Bruce.
you sound like a man that's beginning to realise your we're better argument is flawed. we are dreadful regardless of who the manager is ...
Would have taken a point before kick off and another clean sheet. Much better performance considering "we don't have the players to change formation" although still some glaring issues to sort out but surely no reason to revert to five at the back, off the back of that performance. Gayle, Jonjo, Ritchie, Manquillo all look like they need 3/4 more games before they'll be up to speed and the last few games out of the team have done Hayden no good but no reason to change a team keeping a clean sheet for the next game. Interesting having Miguel through the middle with Gayle instead of Joelinton but if it wasn't clear to see before - Big Joe is not an out and out forward, he's a inside forward/winger but much better again from him out wide. I'd swap him and Ritchie though, so they could whip balls in and through for Gayle and Miggy but there's a much better chemistry about the front 4 (4-2-3-1) than in the previous 5-4-1's "striker force". What I don't understand is why neither team made more than one sub? Seemed like it got to 70 mins and no one wanted to try anything, on the pitch or the dugout, for fear of upsetting the balance of a 0-0 game. Shelvey was blowing hard towards the end and Longstaff seemed the obvious change to make. Ritchie or Manqy for Yedlin as well maybe?
So what is the actual plans for this new style of play Bruce has indicated? Is he meaning he wants us to have more possession, get forward quicker/more etc? I did notice yesterday (was at the match) we did seem to have more of the ball and get forward quicker, but is that cause of Bruce’s new tactics or cause it’s Burnley who themselves don’t have much of the ball?
tbh we looked better yesterday, but I think Burnley were poor also. Southampton away would be a big win, but I just don't see us doing well.
Can't fathom why Joelinton's even in the side, his transfer gets fishier by the week. He's useless everywhere. Ritchie's not a PL player by any stretch either. Bruce's obsession with players playing on their "opposite" side is frankly bizarre. If your players are heading to the byline it adds precious seconds to allow midfield to catch up. I still don't quite get the formation. Sort of 4-4-2, ish? Either way, back four again, I'd get Max back on the left, Lazaro on the right, drop Joelinton and again play Mig central AM with Gayle CF. I'd stick with the 2 CM's for now, possibly swap Shelvey for Bentaleb/Longstaff on Tuesday.
I say all 2 mins of the "highlights" and he did the square root of **** all, but I'll take your word for it. Still didn't quite understand the formation. Tactic seemed to be "get it to Almiron", because Maximin wasn't there.
you have no idea.. your more points argument ends in 7 days as for playing better football I I think you know that's a fallacy.
