Unfortunately...or fortunately actually, I am the cook. I took a chance before for no extra time. Tried something different tonight. Sunday roast, but vegan (Mrs is a veggie anyway, but I am a proper meat eater). Lovely roast potatoes (in garlic & rosemary), roasted veg (Onions, peppers, parsnips, carrots, brussels, green beans covered in basil & olive oil) and I had a vegan 'steak'. Quite nice actually. Doing a lamb curry tomorrow though to balance the universe EDIT: Also just blew the vegan meal (but kept it veggie) by my home made Tiramisu
Sounds alright to be fair I dont mind some of the veg options, they can be a nice change once in a while. But yea smash that lamb curry, sounds decent.
In my book there is no such thing as a vegan steak. That is because a steak has to have blood running from it when you cut into it.
Glad Vinicius Jr got on the scoresheet for RM. When you look at Barca now, you weep as they are but a palé shadow of the side of 6 years ago. It is like watching a slow, painful death. I feel Real are further along in their transition, aided by young Brazilians.
I can confirm your version of El Classico is correct IOAG. Useless information - In Forfar they have a delicacy called the Forfar Bridie - a kind of cross between a sausage roll and pasty.
Would love these 8 teams to come through in this week´s FA Cup!! Pompey, (so we can all laugh at Arsenal), Derby (so we can mock the Manchester United fans in offices in Southampton and elsewhere in the South), Newcastle (WBA will have their success in a few months), Sheffield United, Leicester, Norwich, Sheffield Wednesday and Liverpool (their fans sing better songs than Chelsea´s as well as being more left'-leaning) In reality I suspect the last 8 will be Arsenal, Manchester United, WBA, Sheffield United, Leicester, Chelsea, whilst Norwich could spring a surprise at fragile Tottenham and what about the Wednesday causing the upset of the round as City do not travel too well away. It depends on the team City put out, but if Wigan can do it, why not Wednesday?
I just want to see Toon's first 11 get the biggest run a round. After that, I just don't give a crap.
We'll need a shed load of luck. All they are going to do is hit long balls until a one legged Andy Carroll bundles one in.
He'll make his customary comeback against us, score or set a goal up, and then get injured again for the rest of the season.
They could always sign up Daniel Sturridge, released byTrabzonspor by mutual agreement. Looks as if he has been spending a lot of time munching away on kebabs.
Am hoping Aresenal lose because when l have travelled home to the UK the past 6 years l have either had family commitments stopping from going to home games, or the fixture list has not be favourable. So am back from Dubai next week until 23 March and have got a ticket for the Arsenal game for the 22 March. If they go out tonight l will be at St Marys for the game. If Arsenal do win, am hoping the game gets moved to the Wedneday night, in which case l will rebook the flight for the Thursday, here's hoping something works out . Edit: bollocks! Arsenal game rescheduled for 4 April. Another season without a home fixture to be at...
Carroll, Shelvey, Antonio, Sturridge, Welbeck. There's a number of players who seem to time their bouts of fitness with matches against us.
