    Precisely that. Speculation, of course, but there are several things that suggest the possibility. The proximity of a research facility; the Chinese response (they are notoriously secretive); the virus itself. Doubt that we'll ever know for sure.

    I'm not sure this is the right thread to be discussing the virus.

    Nevertheless the virus came from animals and crossed to humans, it is clear and evidenced.

    Conspiracy theories can stop.

    It's bad in Nothern Italy - hope that this hasn't affected the Pozzos.

    Anyway back to the football - a bonus 3 points.

    And hope Liverpool get back to normal against Bournemouth!!

    I have decided to throw the predicting towl in regarding where we will end up and other team's games and just TRY to enjoy the ride. Sometimes, I think we are down, sometimes I think we'll do it. It is an emotional rollercoaster. I guess this season is at least a bit more dramatically gutrenching.

    The first 10 games with Nigel in charges achieved 15 points and started with a 2-0 defeat at LiVARpool followed by a 2-0 win at home to Man United
    The second 10 games started with a 3-0 defeat at Man United followed by a 3-0 win at home to LiVARpool
    Am I the only one to see the pattern, if we achieve 12 points from the next 8 games we should be safe and the last 2 games against Arsenal and Man City would then be a chance for bonus points

    I've just reread this thread. If Palace lose all the games that have been noted above then they will be well and truly in the mire. Of the bottom dwellers they play us, Bournemouth and Villa. Of the rest they play Burnley at home and all the top seven except Man City. It is unlikely that they will be relegated but stranger things have happened.

    We got done over by their tactics, we fell into their trap. Once they scored we were never going to win, let alone draw.

    Personally, I think it was luck Capoue stayed on the pitch, just as well or he'd have missed two games.

    As you were in the league positions apart from Brighton who edged up albeit on points.
