Watched Judy last night. Excellent film. Zellweger is superb.

Phillip Schofield probably enjoyed it too.

Indeed it is and let's hope it continues. The daffodils are already out in the garden and the birds are merrily warbling away. The early blossom and berries are a good sign too. I just love these clear, fresh days.

The Daily Borisgraph tells us not to celebrate the return of Spitting Image. They must be kidding. I can't wait, and only hope it starts before Jezza retires to the back benches. If Johnson can't stand being satirised it shows the lowering of the calibre of our politicians. When it was first on they used to be upset if they weren't on (well some of them), and one or two even asked to keep their puppet. Ronald Reagan was outstanding, and the show went downhill when he retired as President.

Anyone watched The Stranger on Netflix?

That is a binge worthy show, not loads of episodes and you can finish it in a weekend with crappy weather.

Not sure it would work as well now.

Political correctness would prevent the ribbing that Reagan got for being senile, and it's impossible to satirize Donald Trump, as he is an extreme caricature and is also genuinely and unashamedly a White Supremacist. His followers actually chant "Send them back" when he talks about his political opponents who are not white.

Boris would make a good target, but again he is such a real-life buffoon the producers would have to work hard to make his puppet funnier than he is.
I think Putin could really be done well, and those twats who run Canada and France. And of course Little Rocket Man...

On the sporting front I'd like to see Joshua and Fury puppets, and Lewis Hamilton too.
And (dare I say it) Sir Mo Farrah :emoticon-0104-surpr

Harry and Meghan should get absolute dogs abuse, that would make me laugh. But the PC brigade would shout 'racist' of course.

I agree Corbyn and the loony lefties would be fun to take the rise out of. And if I was producing it I would not be shy of lampooning XR, Greta and the whole 'Woke' movement, but I guess they would be considered untouchable.

Must admit I felt a little bit sorry for David Steel back in the day.
His credibility (such as it was) was destroyed by Spitting Image in a really cruel but very funny way.
But now we know he covered up for the vile Cyril Smith, I'm not as bothered by his humiliation as I used to be.

David Beckham could be very funny, looking for his knighthood. Ivanka Trump another possible star.
