For my money, Dire Straits début album was the best thing they ever did, followed by Communiqué. And for me this track was an example of why they shook the music scene at the time. Nobody else sounded like they did. This sounds as sublime to me these days as it did all those years ago. Maybe it's that steel guitar that Mark Knopfler loves so much. Wild West End:
