An old head on good wages until the end of the season with a huge bonus for staying up would be the wise option - much cheaper than the amount we'd lose from going down.
He doesn't know how to. He plays the same system every game and re-affirms in interviews that he will continue to do so, ergo ****ing Madness
I agree but I can't see the Allams sacking Terry then spending serious money on a replacement at this time.
I am assuming the City website is having technical issues as we are still waiting for the announcement that he is ****ing gone. He stays we are 100% nailed on for relegation if he goes we have a chance of staying up. Ehab get it done you ****ing prick.
From the squad on Saturday he could have changed the system perhaps 4-4-2 Long/Ingram Pennington Mcloughlin Taffazzoli Elder Lopes Stewart Batty Samuelsen / Maddison Balogh Lewis Potter
G I'm fairly sure that Billy's "free time" didn't include lunch time on a match day. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Ehab seemed? to have some connection with Silva. If he could get him back he would have a good go at turning it around.
Yes please!! That would work for me. However, I think we are stuck with Terry until the horrible ghastly end.....L1 here we come
Millions of pounds in signings and loans, a lucrative contract and a get out clause, can't see it happening again
Nonono - we had a great start under silva but he couldn’t turn it round when we started slipping and losing heart towards the end of the season. And we had considerably better players in the squad. Nothing he’s done since convinces me he’s got any depth, he’s all good hair and suits.
Looks like he will be here til at least the weekend so it's something we are going to have to accept. A win which we all want obviously and he will carry on, lose and I don't know. One thing which is important which after recent games some will find hard to do but the support for the team is so important. Who ever and if someone else does come in he will have different ideas but what a difficult job to take on. A few have mentioned Nigel Adkins saying he would get more out of the players? Don't know maybe he would but let's not for get he had a defence with Burke, Lichaj and De Wijs playing and a forward line with Grosicki, Campbell and Bowen, six very decent championship players which would make a big difference to this team. Atkins wouldn't come back anyway but the point i am making is would Nigel get better out of the players or did he just have much better players available. Just an alternative view on the situation. However even with injuries only two points from the previous 33 is horrendous and if someone else could come in and organise this team defensively better it would be a good start.
Second paragraph, first sentence Richard. The point is, he isn't very clever at all is he. If that is actually true, then he is just playing with a toy that daddy bought him. We all thought that was the case (well most of us anyway).
Absolutely this. I would also add McCann didn’t come to us blindly, he was friends with Adkins, spoke with Nige before hand, so knew the score and what he was coming in to. Whilst I sympathise re injuries, most of the squad assembled has been on his watch, and whilst we all question the quality of recruitment, whether L1 or Championship level, irrespective of quality there is absolutely no excuse for the lack of fight and effort on offer at Stoke. The stats from Sat are embarrassing; 8 tackles, 8 interceptions in 90 odd mins., players & McCann should be ashamed. They looked defeated from the off, resigned to their fate. That is at McCann’s door. From the start, team selection; the only two players that look like they might be capable of doing something, Balogh and Maddison, on the bench. That is down to McCann. Balogh showed more in his 20 mins in his last match than Magennis in his last few matches. It looks like cracks are now beginning to appear from the players, first Stewart last week questioned tactics, and this week Irvine mentioned in his interview the tactical approach. McCann & players may feel hurt by the chanting, not as hurt as the supporters who coff up their hard earned and as a bare minimum expect to see a bit of fight, pride and a shift put in, not just going through the motions.
