It's a hypothetical question lads, not serious and not being done to undermine Parkinson. Give your heads a wobble and get back to RTG , if you want to be knuckle dragging idiots
So what's the point? And how do you know it's not being done to undermine Parkinson ... ... are you the spokesman for ALS.
Perhaps these people do not wish to respond to a knuckle dragging idiot .... .... or perhaps they're consulting with the electorate
Replying to @Smug in Boots Hume is the latest in a long line of whipping boys even though his stats prove different and I think some people are judging Ozturk on his first couple of appearances. To be brutally honest i think some people criticise on what they have heard or read and not witnessed.
Well said that man. Hume, whilst nowhere the finished product is just behind Maguire in creating chances/crosses. His defending is not great at times and he is not strong in the air, but since he does not really have a left winger to help him out, he is often isolated on his own. If we fail to go up I image several.clubs might come in for him As Donald does not have much cash.. he may well sell him
My answer is i dont know because I'm not a professional football manager and i dont see the players day in day out so I'm happy to let Parky make the decisions. He will make mistakes like any other manager. But I'm happy with him and the team atm, Yes we had a poor start under him, Tranmere aside, but there were games we were unlucky not to get a result. A recent few blips after a good run of form but the season isn't over and we are in striking distance of automatic. I will save judgement till the end of the season but if we still put a good run in now and fail to go up i would like him to start next season.
I've said this before, and been criticised for saying it, but there will be things that go on within the club, amongst the playing and coaching staff, that we as fans will never know about (unless perhaps we have a direct contact within the dressing room). These are the things that can and do affect team selection, tactics etc. Obviously, as fans, we're going to have an opinion on this stuff but it's the manager who really knows what's going on (or should do). Agreeing or disagreeing with the expert is just part of the fun, because you know that in the long run, your opinion doesn't really matter.
In a team with forwards who get on the end of decent crosses and support the wing backs defensively Hume would flourish and be absolutely flying. A rest wouldn't do him any harm either he's looking tired mentally and physically. He gets loads of crosses in and obviously they aren't all laser accurate but most of them are much better than Wyke and Grigg make them look. Hopefully Lafferty has the guile to be in the right place at the right time and get on the end of them. It's not rocket science but we make it look like it is.
What really does my head in is how many of our "fans" go on about John as if he's the mile better than Hume - and they've probably never even seen him kick a football!
It is hypothetical. No-one is saying it isn't, but it's a stupid thing to ask at a stupid time because all it does is feeds and encourages the negativity which ultimately spills into the stands and therefore onto the pitch. Why ask it? Why not instead try to encourage momentum, unite the fans behind the manager and team, and create a positive atmosphere at such a crucial stage of the season.
1) Appoint Parky as my assistant manager and get him to make all of the decisions. 2) Pay the stewards to fill in anyone who moans at the team during the game. The instructions on the scoreboards will be "support us for 90 minutes, no matter what". 3) Ask for a bit more responsibility from the fanzines of the club. The amount of times that they find negatives in a game that we've won is astounding. It seems that they're confused about whether they are fans or journalists. Opinions and Agendas are not the same as analysis lads. Just get back to supporting the lads, we expect you to be biased towards the club, the only people listening are our fans!
Not sure I like the idea of using stewards to fill in the whingers like. Much prefer if we forged some strong community links with some Russian ultras and bring them over for cultural exchange visits whereby they knock **** out of the whingers while we film it and then sell the footage to Netflix to make a bit extra coin for the club.
