    There's mileage in the game yet but it doesn't sound pretty. Need to scrap out any type of result from here, even a draw would show something.

    Well on the plus side my local club Tranmere seem to have woken up finally. Looked dead and buried 2 weeks ago (12 points from safety i think) but now looking at their 3rd win on the bounce! Honestly can't see Sunderland missing out on the play-offs, the question is just whether things can improve enough to get automatic, second half tonight will be a good indicator of that sort of thing.

    Not a shot on goal and appalling, but Flanagan gets elbowed in the heed and gets booked, Lafferty will have to come off been booked so Wyke on, but we have been rubbish. Looks like the cave in has started early this season it looks like they don't even want a play of place. Seminyo our best player, the only player interested.

    If it's anything like the last match we've forgotten how to play the ball on the ground. We need to start doing that again it's what we're good at. We won't get promoted if all we do is hopefull/panicked long balls forward with the odd moment of quality.

    This will be an awful 45 to watch. As bad or worse than Fleetwood. These are an awful team for manipulation of the game

    The defence seems to have collapsed that's the big mystery, attack is our only option which might just work in our favour.
    Wyke on for Lafferty second half understandable but disappointing at the same time.
