Jnr is going to Leeds Festival this year especially to see Rage (although there's a pile of other bands on his wish-list too!) They'll be on at Reading too pal, hurry and get your ticket, the rest of the line-up looks pretty good
It will probably be canceled due to the virus Apart from Rage and a couple of others I think this years lineup is confused and very weak imo. I know things progress musically but I just feel the original Reading fest lost it's soul and sold out/flat lined long long ago
Know what you mean. We went to T in the Park for ten years running, it was a great Indie festival but started to go downhill with acts like Rhianna and some X Factor ****ers. The festival hit a few problems outwith the music too, with a few murders and drug deaths which saw an end to it. They've replaced it with TRNSMT, which is day tickets only (no camping) at Glasgow Green in the centre of the city. First couple of years were great, but last year and this the line-up is pretty pony. I started going to smaller festivals, Electric Fields, Hope & Glory and Doune the Rabbit Hole. This year will be my tenth at DTRH, and a new day festival in Glasgow at SWG3 Glavinizers Yard (great outdoor venue, saw Foals there last year) where we'll see Pixues, and maybe Libertines if I can find the cash! The Sunday at Reading looks ok, other days not so good.
