24,000 of us have already paid for the remaining home games. And a large number of these will be stumping up first payment of next seasons card shortly. Lets hope he uses the money wisely if he can't get a buyer. Or we really are goosed.
i do wonder how many folk hold back on season tickets. surely this will flush stewy down the pipe , but will we be biting off our noses?
prepare for free transfers and loans in summer and more cost cutting as looking like we are stuck with him cant see him dropping his asking price
What exactly is his asking price? I keep reading this but still haven’t heard or seen anything concrete.
Which could end up causing the club to fold. Whilst i live overseas and therefore don't have a season ticket i spend significantly more than that from the club online shop over the year. People want us to get out of this division and to do that it's obvious that we need to spend more to achieve it. We are of course hampered by the rules that limit playing staff costs to 60% of turnover. We already have the highest overheads in the division and if we reduce our income we'll have less to invest in the playing squad whomever the owner is next season. Sorry, but not renewing is cutting off your nose to spite your face. If the club is truly "ours" as iv'e heard many say, this is the time that we should be supporting it financially. Remember that there's no parachute money next season as well.
Reported but nothing confirmed. It seems all this FPP stuff was pie on the sky, were they ever really interested in full ownership? Maybe nobody is serious enough about owning us.
Donald said he didn’t know if the new owners wanted him or not, Jack Ross said he had met them and Max Power told us he is going to ask for a raise. Then it all went tits up, now people can defend this joker all they want, but something went seriously amiss and I can only assume it was at this end.
I thought Donald had said that the FPP were investing in him as oppose to the club? Now don’t get me wrong Donald doesn’t fill me with confidence but surely if the opportunity for him to make a quick buck presented itself he’d grab it. Maybe the offers haven’t been enough.
That was afterwards, when he got the arse and blamed the fans for forcing him out, claiming that we have lost out on FPP as they only wanted him. In the early podcast days he told them that he didn’t know if he was wanted. When you tell lies you have to keep remembering what you have said and keep telling lies.
I’ve never been a Donald fan from day 1. I thought he was a mouthpiece with an ego that far outweighed his actual value. However I see no reason for him to cling onto something that he apparently wants rid of if he gets a reasonable price. As I said earlier perhaps the interested party or parties haven’t been serious enough with their offers.
Donald also allowed them to register a new company at the SOL when there was no need other than to take over the club. It wouldnt be necessary to either invest or loan money, I've certainly never seen it at any other club. I'm in a different position because I've seen first hand proof from Fuhrman saying he was the new owner. I don't expect people to believe me but it obviously affects how I see the situation.
