    It's in the small print.

And comes as no big surprise.

What about that other league table? You know, the Championship league table.

...does this mean that the £50m asking price should really be about £2m?

Yes Quill, but you haven't taken into account 10 years of interest at circa £4 million annually on 'the gift'...

At the bottom of the picture in post 1 of this thread there is some writing which explains where the information came from, in short the club's own accounts.

It comes as no surprise we are up there because we had a whole load of parachute payment money, sold some players for a lot of money and then bought some much cheaper ones to replace them. They would be paid less too and last but not least our illustrious owners havnt taken a penny out of the club.

Apologies Lamby, didn't see your earlier thread.

If this doesn't get people storming the gates of Allamhouse I don't know what will.

    So...

The 2013-14 accounts said the debt to Allam was £67m. The next 5 years saw a profit of £48.21m. We then sold Bowen for, say, £20m. The club pays Allamhouse £165k per year for the Directors services and they get 4% interest on lets say £50m average per year. That puts them into profit by my reckoning even before any beneficial taxation ****ery.

    Selling price is £50m.

Yup. The Allams are still collosal ****s. Just checking.
