They closed the doctors yesterday to allow it to be deep cleaned.

I've heard from a pal that they are gonna cancel it all next weekend.

Champions crowned but no relegations or promotions and restart in summer

    Dno how true

Can't see the Euros being played this summer, will almost certainly have to be delayed by a year.

Just hope the domestic season gets finished before things get really bad. Have seen some suggesting the league can be postponed and finished in summer (in lieu of the Euros) but don't see how that can be possible as it will get a hell of a lot worse before it gets better.

A lot of the precautions taken are trying to close the door after the horse has bolted. Everybody self isolating has been in contact with potentially hundreds of people during the incubation period, let alone all the things they've touched etc.

Unless they essentially shut down the entire country for 2 weeks and make everyone isolate together, then they can't stop it or even drastically reduce it.

For example, if I was to get it, over a 5 day period before the symptoms showed, I would come into close enough proximity with about 5 of my neighbours, about 50 people on the train (close by, potentially hundreds on the same carriage), up to 50 people in my office, plus a dozen people in the local shops etc. - that's before you count things such as the gym, going to the pub or out for meals. Any of these people could catch it from me and spread it in the same way I have.

It's impossible to stop, unless there's actually a cure. Good hygiene is all we can really do. Anything else seems overkill I think.

I'd go one step further than that Flash. Close all borders worldwide and shutdown the world for 2 weeks.

If every country does the same, no ones economy would be adversely affected as we'd all be in the same boat. If the governments want to provide stimulus, do it in the way of food deliveries etc.

That wouldn’t work mate as there’s only Liverpool that are runaway leaders the rest of the leagues are prity close.

What does that mean for those who have season cards? Do we get refunded the "average game cost" by the government? over £50 in my case

If the games are going to be behind closed doors, will season ticket holders get safcsee free?

Anyhow I am most definitely pissed off with results atm and may decide that playing golf is better for my disposition (even if I play crap) than watching us fall short yet again.

Several members of my family think I am bonkers as the highs, and mostly lows of Sunderland affect my mood and outlook. They question my sanity as I keep going to the games expecting a miracle..

Even when I lose at golf my mood is still fairly good... I used to run/jog, until PF affects stopped that. Exercise generally improves feeling good, Sunderland losing creates depression.
