The match against Ipswich Town on March 14th will see a food collection for the the Gasheads Against Food Poverty (GAFP) in aid of the North Bristol Foodbank. There is a list of foodstuffs they would like on the Bristol Rovers google search provided by Bristol Live. With around 3 tonnes of food given at the three previous collections lets see if we can continue this level of support
Let's hope they are not looking for tinned food as in the current ' frenzy ' it is flying off the shelves like there won't be a tomorrow, it's pathetic
They are tins of Chopped tomatoes, Spaghetti, Sponge pudding, and Meat add to that tinned Potato,s and Rice pudding. Also on the list is Mashed potato instant Coffee and as Easter is getting closer any Chocolate eggs and dental items
Doubt they will get bog rolls. Went to a supermarket yesterday and a different one today and there was no toilet paper left in either. Even the horrible toilet paper that feels like sandpaper was gone!
I notice that this is another Category A game ! I wonder if the powers that be ( If in fact there are any ) will now have a re - think.
I wonder if this game is going to be available now to us supporters ? Looks as if more and more ' mass gatherings' are being shut down, I can't believe they allowed the horse racing to go ahead this week with the hoards that that event attracts. Wouldn't of fancied being up there and drinking out of one of those ' dunked once in a rotating pipe cleaner plastic beakers ' !!
