I'm almost as gutted as the connections (well maybe not literally) I went big on Goshen and was cheering his win from 2 out. But as someone else said - that would have been the performance of the week if Jamie could have clung on.

I wish posh totty would stop saying that they aren't allowed to show the last 2 races. You ARE allowed you daft bint, just that your bosses are too tight to pay the extra cash!

Crying shame for Goshen who was about to piss up. Lovely looking stamp of a horse and hope he's OK.

Allmankind is a smaller sort and although he kept on well for pressure and a place he doesn't look the sort to forge a long career. Aspire Tower has run really well but I must admit I didn't fancy the winner at all. His grade 3 win on heavy last time looked well short of what it would take.

Solo came in with a highly dubious 157 rating and the official handicapper will be taking the shears to his faux pas shortly. Embarrassing error of judgement there.

Hard lines Goshen backers, he was the proverbial superior gravy today.

Afternoon, fellas! Here are my First Two for today: Albert bartlett hurdle i Think,THYME HILL hasnt yet reached the ceiling of his ability, and he arrives Here fresher than Most.the only slight question is:what did he Beat so far?but i believe,he LL be up to this Test. Gold cup,3 30 well,i am a stout PRESENTING PERCY Supporter, and that from the Very beginning of his Career.was disappointing last Year in this Race, but had a valid excuse.he was Not firing on all cylinders so far this Season, but his astute Trainer will Not have left any stone unturned, and i expect a much better showing Today.

I like a bit of Monkfish myself. Very tasty - had some in a seafood restaurant in Sweden (someone else was paying!)

Some engine that Monkfish, was keen, couple of mistakes and still managed to fight them all off, very high class animal.

Have to say the 3 novice hurdle winners are all very nice. Shishkin I think is the most talented of the 3.
