Of course Jasper as we all do, sorry if I gave the wrong impression. I'd like to see some reassurance for the self employed, gig economy workers, those in rented accommodation those that would otherwise fall through the net.

Following this morning's announcement that us oldies will have to remain isolated at home for four months or more and not go out at all the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov went straight out to the garden shed and got a shovel. I am now watching her from the conservatory as she has removed half a dozen patio slabs and is digging a bloody deep hole. At first I thought she was clearing the drains but as we haven't had a blockage I asked her what she was up to. She just looked at me with a rather satanic grin on her face. I think she is losing her marbles. What on earth reason could she have for digging a bloody big hole under the patio?

Might have been premature on that one, wishful thinking? I do leave early, but my drive is usually busy, if not chock-a-block. Not so this morning but if the roads were just as busy this morning for you, then maybe my drive home will be more telling.

I'm going to be working at home from midweek as is my wife and my teenager will be knocking about too...being trapped at home by myself is no problem but with my family too...it may be fraught at times :emoticon-0102-bigsm

:emoticon-0102-bigsm I've never played any console games apart from a brief spell on a SNES many years ago so at least I don't have to suffer that indignity. She ran me close at scrabble once though

FIFA has to be the worst football game ever, you can put your controller down and it will score for you.

    Re. footy computer games -
Sensible World of Soccer was the best game ever followed closely by Kick Off 2 (both Amiga 500 platforms) early 1990s.

computers deciding what I'm going to do annoys the **** out of me, if it costs me a goal or a loss the controller will go flying, Pro-Evo is pretty bad for doing what it wants but FIFA is far far worse. I'm not sure if anything annoys me more tbh lol, they're computer games, they're supposed to be controlled by logical but how is it logical for a player with 90 pace to out-run a player that has 99 and a head-start? If i'm facing left and pushing left as I press the pass button why has it passed it to the oppostion striker who is unmarked, goalside and in a competely different direction?

as to PvP shoot em ups and FPS, I'm terrible at those too, but I'm quite good at working out strategies
