WWE Wrestlemania will no longer air from Tampa and instead be filmed at the WWE’s training facility with no audience and only a certain personnel present.

Before everyone gets too carried away with conspiracy theories, for businesses to claim for loss of business due to COVID-19, they’d need specific ‘notifiable disease’ insurance, which barely anyone has.

Britain’s largest pub chain, Enterprise Inns, has said none of their pubs are covered, regardless of whether the advice is just to not go, or they’re actually forced to close.

The government have classified this as a notifiable disease, so those with insurance can claim, but it seems barely anyone will be able to.

Looks like the treasury are about to announce some measures to help businesses in the hospitality industry.

    Folks.

Myself and daughter have both started with a dry cough. The woman of the house is high risk - had pneumonia as a child so reduced lung function, has a severe form of asthma linked to a low immune system and actually was in hospital with it all last week.

If it is that I suppose it’s too late now for me and little one to keep away from her, but should I banish her to the shed?

Will the enterprise to build more life saving ventilators be called “Operation Last Gasp”?

flawed logic... not everyone will catch it.

This is still serious, but it’s not that bad. My prediction is between 15,000 - 20,000 deaths. Which is really ****ing scary!!

will be more bankruptcies than deaths that’s for sure

It's nowhere near, the death rate from COVID-19 is currently believed to be 2-3%, normal flu is a fraction of that (0.1%-0.2%).

And that's with a vaccine. It will be interesting to see what effect the medicines from Cuba have in Italy. That's if our mainstream media report it.

Average over the past five years is 17,000 a year, though ironically, in the current 2019-20 flu season, only 6,600 have died so far (30% of those who should be vaccinated, still don't get it done).

Many deaths from flu (and probably from this virus) are from secondary bacterial infections like pneumonia. All health figures need careful interpretation. It will be years afterwards before the true cost (health and financial) is known

and? You think 3,000 less deaths a year makes it ok?

How often does the flu fill hospitals to bursting, leave them with not enough equipment to deal with everyone it takes seriously ill, and even force hotels to transform into temporary hospitals in the areas it’s really bad?

As you get older, your immune system becomes less efficient, making you more at risk from opportunistic infections. Very little can be done about it. Especially if you don't accept free vaccination
