No. As it’s not on the list of insured diseases, which given it’s new is hardly a shocker.

Prepare yourself. We thought had a policy that covered a liability of £1m.

    Not worth a carrot.

****, that's a shocker. So you're only insured if it's an existing pandemic? Thats like ****ing volcano insurance. Surely the vast majority of "existing " diseases have treatments and vaccines anyway - so if you got it they would say it's your fault for not getting inoculated,? Fuxking swizz. You're only insured for leprosy and bubonic plague then?

That's horrific mate, you've got to admire insurance companies for being absolute bastards at every opportunity.

Nope. Which made Johnson’s comments tonight weasel words. As either the insurance industry had mislead the Govt, or the Govt was misleading the populous. Take your pick.

Utter bastards. I think the government have to do what the French have done. Or prop the insurance companies up to do their ****ing obligations. My niece, who works part time at a pub while at university, told me the pub one today, about it being 'advice " rather than an instruction. That and paying private companies £500 a pop for hospital beds when we should just requisition them, and Boris is just Trump east.

That's what I'm hearing. If we have to shut our doors for any length of time they won't reopen

We're a limited company by guarantee so yes, we would qualify but there is no way our trustees would agree to it because you've got to pay it back. They're dead set against loans etc

I've got some options I can explore but can't do anything right now because we don't know what will happen.

This is diabolical. When the market picks up again (if) I'm investing in insurance. Seems they take money then never pay out. That said; Aviva were magnificent with me when I got cancer. Paid off the mortgage (as was) no questions. But then again, the whole country wasnt asking the same thing at the same time.

He's basically saying what everyone but @Tobes knows - finishing the existing league is infinitely more important than starting the next since the next needs the results of the current to be known
