I never much liked 'A Good Heart', even though I rated Feargal Sharkey's voice and bought his first solo album on release. I then couldn't stand the follow up single 'You Little Thief', both of which were from the album BUT found a track on it that I loved and could never understand why it hadn't been released as a single. It has a far 'harder' edge than A Good Heart' and has what I call 'shape' (for want of a better word) to the music. Please have a listen then tell me what you think. I rated it highly and still do!
The 'B' sides of early Mike Oldfield albums were normally collaborations with other artists and well worth a listen. Another track from 'Crises' that is a favourite of mine - totally different, though, to 'Shadow on the Wall'. More melodic but still has 'guts'!
a song for @rooch 3 @Smug in Boots @MrRAWhite.. classics need to be listened too, take care lads, thinking and caring as usual..
The Leningrad Cowboys. Good musicians. Visually brill and superb p*ss takers with tremendous cover versions of songs. Not this one though.
In our previous life I was going to see a Clash tribute band called The Clashed tonight, so thought this would be appropriate.
