from what I have seen, those on zero hours contracts will receive help if they are on PAYE.
Hopefully there will be other info that I have missed

Here is what the Telegraph says:
Should they fall ill, they will be able to claim employment and support allowance (ESA) and/or Universal Credit. The weekly payment for ESA is typically £73.10 or £57.90 for people under the age of 25.

However Chancellor Rishi Sunak has said that he is raising the payments for Universal Credit so that the self-employed receive the same amount as someone on statutory sick pay (£94.25 a week).

these should also be processed quicker than now.

    Doesn’t sound generous mate.

    Under 400 hundred a month.

I really hate to say this, because he is a self serving shallow bastard, but Johnson is fronting this up well. As long as he just keeps listening to the medics, great. He has made the big decision - try to save around 250,000 or more lives, avoid the embarrassing public collapse of the NHS (think he’ll still lose on this one) in a swap for the economy. To be fair this is the choice that it seems every other country has made. Staggering the gradual shut down of everything as he suspects we won’t tolerate it for long. Next week we will have the no leaving the house unless you are buying food etc stuff, and in some towns, no leaving.

I hope it works and the elderly are grateful to the young who will end up paying for many, many years.

People in this Asda are doing my tits in. If you pick up a Kit Kat someone behind you says “ooh look they’re buying all the Kit Kats” I picked up some humous and a man in a beige multi pocketed gilet said “ ooh look Brenda, they’re all panic buying humous” ****pots. Or something

I really wouldn't be using RA as an example of a "good" billionaire....anyone who gets that rich that quickly can't have done So ethically or quite possibly legally

Already got that here...haven't left our 60 square metre apartment all day...my wife and I have just got our 4 year old and 20 month old to bed. To say they had energy to burn is an understatement.

I’m just watching what countries a bit ahead of the UK are doing and assuming that we will do it next. 100% accurate so far. Mind you, Macron doing his de Gaulle impression I could live without.

If this is the case and he caught it at Cheltenham last week then Ireland's numbers will go through the roof. Add Cheltenham to the Liverpool Athletico Madrid game last week and two unnecessary events could have massive consequences for those attending and beyond...
