The farmer who brings our straw got stopped by the police and sent back because the silly bugger didn't have his attestation. Amanda had to go and sort it out<laugh>. Meanwhile we (family) were quite happy soaking up the sun in our courtyard, drinking tea

That reminds me, we only have about 500 bags of Tetleys left, Might have to cut down on the tea for a while

Did some gardening yesterday mowing mainly four gardens kept me busy I only have one kidney having had the other removed 11 years ago after it stopped working but I don't think I fall into the high risk group so only semi isolating the gardens I maintain are for high risk groups mainly in their 80s two are 90 this year one being my mother also the mother-in-law who is 87 with parkinsons but they still all need their gardens kept tidy

Some good news in these worrying times is that Pilton Festival (It's 7 miles from Glastonbury so shouldn't be called that <grr>) has been cancelled <party><party><party><party> I live 6 miles away and it's a right pain in the ar*e for us locals in Wells,Glastonbury and much of Somerset and nowadays it's just Top Of The Pops in a field unlike the good ol' days when it had proper bands with a crowd limit of 20,000.

Now it has been extended to the 30th April, to me personally the best idea is finish this season when ever, then maybe cancel next season at least everybody will know where they stand, even 30th April is only 6 weeks away, I accept you could end up finishing this season in September or October & have maybe 11 months without football. At least there won't be all this rubbish about teams getting promoted & relegated & play offs

Yes but when you think we have not played since the 29th February & the WWFC website has our game as 44days away at Accrington for us that is virtually a whole closed season. They are going to need a lot of training before it kicks off again. That is why I said finish this season then look at what happens after that.

A statement read: "The FA’s Rules and Regulations state that 'the season shall terminate not later than the 1 June' and 'each competition shall, within the limit laid down by The FA, determine the length of its own playing season'.

"However, our Board has agreed for this limit to be extended indefinitely for the 2019-20 season in relation to professional football."
