Germany is now based on no bigger group than a cohabiting family plus one other. Supermarkets and garages open but pretty well everywhere else is closed. Infections yesterday lower than the day before......not sure if it's a blip on the rising tendency or a sign the rules are taking effect.....we've had closed schools for over a week and groups limited more and more as time goes by. Walking out is allowed but distances are maintained. Keep safe!!!!

At least three more prisoners have tested positive for coronavirus in UK prisons. If only there was some way to isolate them <whistle>

Hydroxychloroquine is effective against Covid-19 acute cases, was used with great success in China against this Covid-19, it's an anti-Malaria drug, and it greatly reduces and destroys the virus, you need a doctors prescription, you can get it online also, it is also used for rheumatoid arthritis.

Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) Director General Balrama Bhargava on Monday recommended the use of 'hydroxychloroquine' for treating healthcare workers tackling the suspected or confirmed coronavirus cases and also the asymptomatic household contacts of the lab-confirmed cases. The treatment protocol recommended by the National Task Force has been approved by the Drug Controller General of India (DGCI) for restricted use in emergency situations.

I have requested a prescription as a backup from my wife's GP, still waiting for authorization, will get a private prescription otherwise.........<ok>

I'm "fortunate" that my work is based at home with odd forays into the outside world , I'll probably be considered key worker due to my occupation so not a great deal has changed for me in that respect, Hopefully rectifying site defects will mean just me and a few startled sheep.<whistle>

I’m not a lover of working from home, but needs as must. I’ve kept to my usual office regime. Sat down at 8.30, no TV on, just my usual station of Radio 2 and tea breaks and lunch as usual. So onto tomorrow for another day, the wife is home with me tomorrow. So I’ve got a PA, she can make the tea for me. :)

Just had email from BA Holidays saying (as expected) that our holiday in 8 weeks is cancelled.

Automatic refund for the holiday - but got to apply for the monies paid to reserve a seat.

Why couldn’t they do it all together?

    Wizzair cancelled ours.
    Refund in 60 days!
Why so long when they took the money straight away?
Will not be booking with this lot again.
Having said that the cheap cost airlines are going to the wall now.
