Yes, the legend that they were killed off is incorrect. There was a lot of interbreeding with modern humanity and about 20% of the Neanderthal genome survives today.

Semi lockdown. I've still got to go to work and and be within 2 metres of people. Hopefully my bosses have some sense and shut the ****ing doors tomorrow.

This still probably doesn't go far enough, and will be tightened. But thank **** they finally took this step.

Cant say I’m disappointed if I’m totally honest . If it’s only two people and I think it is , at least Debbies brother in law and nephew can say goodbye .

I hope the senior managers will now let everyone who can work from home do so .

I’m doing it but not enjoying it , there are people who can and want to , but not allowed . Well up until this evening that is .

    Yeah

Yeah, youd think so ... but her mum was taking her (who she doesn't live with) so I can look after the eldest daughter.

I agree . Surely though you can stop them selling non essential items ?

Not saying people would like it , but surely they only have to programme the checkouts to bar certain items ?

Or take the stuff off the shelves .

    clothing , toys , dvds etc .

For a start, not everyone has access to the internet so some won't be able to get home delivery. Second of all, it's impossible to get a slot for food delivery inside 2 weeks as it is. Close supermarkets to the public, and you're going to have people starving.
