Amazing how effortlessly Tim Martin makes himself look like a bigger and bigger ****er, isn't it?

Are people surprised that Tim Martin and Mike Ashley are acting like ****ers, again?
    They're scum. They haven't changed.

Ndemic Creations are a game developer who created Plague Inc.
It's a strategy game where you create a pathogen and attempt to wipe out humanity via a deadly plague...
They were invited to talk to the CDC in America and it was banned in China following a recent upsurge in popularity.

On the basis that the ridiculous behaviour of people doesn't finish us off, it would be nice to think that society might be a bit more considerate and have a bit more thought as to what's important in this life..?

Unfortunately, it isn't going to happen. I've been shopping this morning. Almost nobody was passing anywhere near 6 feet away from me as I walked to the shop, nor inside it. A woman in the supermarket, who was wearing a mask, took it off so that she could pronounce at the top of her voice that she'd bought far more than she normally does and exactly what she'd bought and how much it had cost her. Her partner had a mask covering his mouth but not his nose....

As a species, we're really not worth saving...

As someone who has been working freelance (since age 23) for all but the first
2 years of their career, the premise is that you have to "make hay when the
sun shines" and build up cash surpluses, because the UK govt is
wholly against you when it comes to loss of work (for whatever reason) .

This is the "Faustian pact" you make.

I have seen 3 recessions in my working life.
One that affected everyone (1991) , one that affected only my peer groups
(the "dot com" crash) , and one that did not affect me (the CDO scandal
of 2007-8) . Each time I had built the cash reserves to reach the other side.

Noted that "gig economy" workers are not protected (who are quite low
paid wrt to the hourly/daily rates the like of me can command) , but
we are united in the issue of "disguised employment" (though again much
worse for them than me) .

So her "red line" are the antics of the Xi-nnie the flu govt on Corona-chan.
As far as (Cr)Apple goes, I got there ages ago due to the fact :

    1. they make working life in their factories so evil for China workers
that they need "suicide netting" on their factory premises

    2. their CEO is a self-righteous hypocrite filled with 'gobsh*te privilege'

In my allotted time for freedom today I drove to a nearby common to walk the dog, drove past 2 Aldi's and a Tesco and the carparks were empty, the roads were clear but there were people walking everywhere, it's as if the have taken the advice of the government to have their one walk a day on the now crowded streets , the common was clear except for the one other person on it who insisted on talking to me about the blitz spirit and how the pubs and theatres stayed open when I pointed out to him the walking into a pub or theatre did not increase the chance of a bomb landing on them but the chance of covid increased he called me a commie , he was about 40 so he did well to survive the blitz
On another note I usually get my hair cut once a month but missed the last 2 , after we come out of lock down I will look like Alfie Conn , can't decide on a man bun or a ratty ponytail but worryingly Mrs Conn is eyeing up the dogs clippers
    Stay safe everyone
    Come on you spurs

Yesterday afternoon when me & LadyC went into the Croydon branch of Waitrose there was probably less than a dozen people in there, and that includes cashiers and security

Today there were more people than that in the queue outside waiting to be allowed in in batches

So yeah, the government's advice is actively making things worse...

I'm fuming at that bit at the end, honestly.
They've spent years running the NHS into the ground and now he's acting like he's going to work his arse off to save it?
    Disgraceful deception.

What else do you expect from somebody who has been saying that there were never plans to implement herd immunisation and we all imagined it?

Fun fact: if he said that in Scotland charges could have been brought against him...
