**** happens mate, don't think it's his fault COVID-19 is killing people but I do believe the country needs oil and gas and that's why it's an industry classed as key to infrastructure.

I'm also ex military and done 20 odd hour shifts so I'm sure my 'alive' father is just fine. Admittedly those 20 odd hour shifts were mostly in 2 war zones where I was sent by a Labour government under bogus claims of 'weapons of mass destruction'. My wife also works 13 hour shifts for the NHS, you know, the organisation which was first privatised by... You guessed it, Labour!

Elevenerife mate, always done 1 better. Your next post is point in case and no I'm not, but your post indicating I was hard done by for working 12 hour shifts, when I never said otherwise and blatantly telling you why I wasn't hanging off this forum as if my life depended on it, prompted me to point out that I've done 12 hour plus shifts my whole life and I don't think I'm special for doing so. It's my job, and I choose to do it, which means I accept the working conditions. Not go on strike and cry about it because if I didn't like it I would, you know, change job.

Anyway mate, been a joy chatting to you but I really do have better things to do than spend my evening on here. Enjoy your night, I will.

    Is that relevant?

If he was bombed and shot at, who gives a toss where it was. Hats off to him for serving his country regardless of the location or situation.

question its your right to strike, but why for a year, knowing the stockpiles the government put in force due to yet another crippling one from the last strike, was it Arthur's golden tongue who kept you out, whilst he was dining like a lord, knowing you're hardships and pretending he is in the same boat.

don't open your mouth if you know nowt about it, all the lads who went did so with pride, i was proud to serve and would do so again freely.you dont know nowt what the SAS found out, even today all of what happened has still not come out and probably never will. British people cried out for help and British soldiers were there for them

So you can spend billions to keep 2000 people safe at the cost of destroying peoples lives, i appreciate what you did but not what it was for

I have seen what you did and followed it live well as good as I could then

Very proud of what you did but that does not make me proud of what she did to my industery

all my dads family came from Ryhope and all 6 brothers worked down the pit, hated Scargill, and couldn't wait to change jobs. and if you were one of the first 200 needing to be rescued i bet you would be the loudest voice.

That would depend on the reliability and competence of the advisors.
