Greggs are offering free home deliveries

The CEO said "We are doing our bit to support lazy fat bastard Britain"

No wonder they make huge profits —- if you get one , before you eat , open up a “steak” bake and check how much steak is actually in it

Just thought I'd give a big thank you to Morrisons.
I work part time for the out of hours GP service linked closely to the NHS and I went at 7am this morning to take advantage of their 7-8am NHS staff only hour and I was mightily impressed,I was greeted at the door and had my ID checked wished a good morning and enjoyed a hassle free shopping experience, I was third in the store, no queues, shelves pretty much fully stocked bar the odd item and staff really happy to help.
When you see some of the goings on recently in supermarkets I can only give Morrisons a ten out of ten. Well done them.

I can only applaud Morrisons and other shops, looking after the NHS and associated is absolutely great and shows how much they are appreciated.

However, my 1 gripe is the actual times, although I do think it can't be avoided. Case in point, my wife worked night shift last night and finishes at 0730, but has to do a handover so it's not really 0730. By the time she gets home, does the right thing and showers and changes from her (travel clothes) and get's to the shops, it was gone half 8 and she was stood waiting about 20 minutes to get in... Again, if on day shift, she needs to be in and ready to go before half 7 so can't go before work either and finishes at half 8, when the shelves are bare...

I know I'm moaning about a good deed but it still leaves some nurses struggling. Yes they can go on there day off but what if that is 3 days away?

Like I said though, I applaud the supermarkets for looking after NHS, it's absolutely fantastic.

Yesterday afternoon at about 15:00hrs I went to lidls in Washy just mainly to get fresh veg. I kid you not there were only about 10 other people in there. No milk or big rolls but I wasn't after those. Decided to drive down to Aldi afterwards, again quiet, slightly more busy than lidls with about 40 people. Bog roll delivered as I was walking round plenty of milk. Hopefully the mass panic has now died down

Quite a few people have said they're generally seeing a lot less footfall so I have told the wife to go to the closest Aldi next time she needs anything. Hopefully she can get in and out a lot quicker.

Thanks for the update though, fingers crossed that the panic buying is dying down.

    The governments response;-
    - re-nationalising key industries,
    - managing essential services,
    - diverting state resources to the national cause,
    - manipulating the economy with minimum income standards,
    - using the media for thought control from "Wash your hands" to "Stay at home"
    - the army available to keep public order
... and now the Royal Family might croak?

    Welcome to Boris's Socialist Republic

I got through my Brexit stock-pile last April and again last November, I went through my big Christmas shop in January.

It will be at least another 3 weeks before I need to panic buy again.

    I wouldn’t say tiny amount
Today I advised a group of girls hanging around to disburse
    With no avail
I warned them of the law still not bothered
However I continued with my walk and within minutes
Two police cars blues and two raced towards them
I bet they nearly crapped them selves
Did not hand around to find out come
Seem to think there were on a mission

"Seem to think there were on a mission."

This is part of the problem mate.

Young people have so little to rebel against they'll have a strop about almost anything.

All of the angst is neatly catered for .... their sexuality, colour, beliefs, etc, are all protected, appreciated and even championed.

Their tattoos, piercings, hairstyles, language, music, humour, slang, clothes, etc, are all readily accepted to the point where no one actually notices any more. Their ability to shock has been reduced to being an ignorant loudmouth dick whocan shout and swear and tell people to jog on.

    Rebel without a brain ...
