Thank **** for that, glad he's recovered. I wasn't convinced what I paid for the bloody tickets would be returned to sender. D'ya know where his next gig is planned for ?
Just got my ticket refunded for Randy Newman in June, 3rd time it's happened for me. Given his age/health I think I'm destined never to see him live again, unless I go to the states that is...
Think I found it. Good old Rand, song for every occasion! Cologne's and the German football authority's behaviour over the Birger Verstraete incident is disgraceful. https://allmysportsnews.com/soccer/...could-end-up-being-washed-away-by-prem-greed/
Liam Gallagher, unplugged at Hull City Hall, is to be shown on Friday night on MTV. I heard it was a good gig.
It was a great gig, I was there front row. Way better than it had any right to be, was probably the best gig I've seen in Hull. I think the album of the gig comes out on Friday as well. I should've been in the Isle of Wight right now. ****ing virus!
I will say that it isn't as good as the Nirvana one, though to be fair, there's maybe only a handful of gigs in history close to that.
When MTV was a half decent music channel, the unplugged series was good, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains...
You mean back when MTV used to play music? The Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains ones are great, definitely deserve more attention. There's a great one with LL Cool J, De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest on it that I never see mentioned.
