    I got a whole ten points that week on Brian's Prediction League... not that I've ever made claim to know what the hell I'm talking about when it comes to predicting the outcome of our games... nor anyone elses! Laws and refereeing: Yes! Tactics and predictions: No!
    Furthermore I decided not to attend the match, deciding to get some other things done and watch it in the pub. You're welcome! <laugh><cheers>

    Seems like Peter Whittingham has passed away at just 35.

    Remember he was a very good player for Cardiff often playing well against us.

    From what I see he had some form of accident and had been in intensive care. He was clearly loved by many fans in a long career at Cardiff, but 35 is just too young for anyone. Sad news.

    Barnet have placed their first-team coaching and backroom staff, staff at the academy and those on the operational side of the club on notice of redundancy.

    The decision, which applies to around 60 employees, has been taken to ensure that the club remains sustainable throughout the current period where there will be no matchday income due to the Coronavirus outbreak suspending the National League.

    Yes - seems strange.

    Lets hope he pulls through.

    Maybe someone told another "it doesn't look good" etc and wires have got mixed up.

    How on earth has English football managed to justify paying Gordon Taylor over £2 million per annum by the Professional Footballers Association ( PFA). The Charity Commission has been looking into the PFA over the last 16 months. Despite an annual income of £25 million from the EPL very little is paid out in benevolent grants to former players in need.

    Leeds Utd confirms that players, coaching staff and senior management have volunteered to take a wage deferral for the foreseeable future “to ensure that all non-football staff at Elland Road and Thorp Arch can be paid and the integrity of the business can be maintained”
