Unfortunately, Mrs B's step-father's test results are in and are positive for Coronavirus. He was admitted to hospital with pneumonia, which has responded well to antibiotics and currently, he is improving but for how long is uncertain. Understandably, the hospital want to release him but there's nowhere for him to go where he won't be likely to infect more people. Her mum has been very unwell over the last few days with flu like symptoms and has been told by the hospital doctors (without testing) that she almost certainly has the virus. She can scarcely look after herself right now, let alone her husband and exposing a whole load of carers isn't likely to be helping anyone, so he remains in hospital whilst bed space is so terribly scarce. Mrs B is understandably very upset and worried but is a real ****ing trooper and tougher than most marines. Tomorrow is her birthday but it's not going to be a particularly happy one. We last saw them 13 days ago. On the basis of current advice, the likelihood is that we don't have it or have had an extremely mild reaction to it. Whatever, this evening has been very tough. Everyone out there stay safe!
Cheers. Unfortunately, we're not unusual right now. The world's going to be a different place at the end of all this. Let's hope that it's better.
Thank you for sharing this Brian it brings us to the reality of what is happening out there. I hope it works out for you all.
I have just found out that a work colleague has just been admitted to hospital with suspected coronavirus and pneumonia, 38 years old and a marathon runner , last heard they are going to ventilate him , this virus has no barriers Stay safe everyone
Mrs B says thanks for all the good wishes! Maybe, with stuff like this, there's still hope for the human race...
Dinamo Minsk against Minsk at the Dinamo Stadium... in Minsk. Don't go to the Minsk Stadium by mistake, anyone.
https://www.vipleague.lc/1-fc-minsk-vs-din-minsk-live-streaming Not many people there, but they're quite noisy. Minsk currently 1-0 up. I think. No commentary.
This afternoon, Mrs B and I went round to her mother's place to drop off some shopping and some meals that I'd cooked for her to microwave. This evening, she rang Mrs B to say that I'd put too much garlic and oregano in the bolognaise sauce....I'm more likely to kill her than this virus!
I did some shopping for the mother in law, I got the wrong brown bread, wrong butter, wrong milk, wrong tea bags ,wrong toilet roll, wrong frozen peas and the wrong marmite, how the f*ck could I get the wrong marmite they only make one type don't they ....... and I forgot the daily mail on purpose
I had to get one bread roll with olives in, lentils, Tetrion grout ready mix, potato croquets, Aerial pods for a neighbour..... Evil old bastard She's only 71. She can ****ing well do it herself next time.
My brothers neighbour used to get him a paper every Saturday morning, he used to knock and would not get him one unless he gave him the exact money Last week brothers wife asked the old boy if he needed any thing from the shops , handsover a bag of shopping and the old git said thanks and shut the door on her without paying
