'Grown on me' - Bristol City fans have their say on club badge one year on from unveiling Reaction was mixed at the time please log in to view this image It is a year to the day since Bristol City's new badge was unveiled. The Robin returned to the club's badge in a high-profile rebrand that, at the time, caused a mixed reaction. Yet, one year on, fans have had the chance to live with the badge a little more and see it on City's kit. please log in to view this image We asked Robins fans their thoughts on the badge today as opposed to a year ago, and time appears to be the greatest of healers. Reaction to the badge is overwhelmingly positive these days - with just one dissenting voice admitting they are still not a fan. George: I still love it and think it’s a best case scenario. Ahad: Love it. Love the badge, love the Robins, I think it is best badge in EFL. Charlie: Not sure about it when I first saw it but it’s grown on me. Biff: Love the badge, can’t wait to see the Hummel kit next season. James: Stylish and modern look. Andrew: When I first saw it, I thought what a load of old rubbish, but now I love it. Sam: When compared against the old badge now, it really does look fresh and modern. Looks great. Euan: Still just as bad. Sue: I know a lot of fans don’t like it, but I actually do like the robin. Although it would have been good if it had the bridge as well. Jake: Love it now. Steve: I love it. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/grown-me-bristol-city-fans-3986208
Didn't like it when I first saw it, don't really like it now, far prefer the old readbreast or coat of arms but it seems I'm in the minority. What do you think of it, this is it's first annivesary?
sorry I know im a stick in the mud but I still prefer the old crest, had a bit of history and class about it,

Didn't think it was very good or appalling bad. Still don't. Could have been so much better. Its doesn't look like a Robin!!
It has grown on me, but I'm with Wings about the crest. Still seems really classy to me in comparison with a lot of stuff out there.
Nerd alert. Historically the Robin has been described as having a red breast for hundreds of years was because there was no word for orange in the English language. Orange was described as a shade of red till the fruit was imported into English speaking nations.
Orange is a colour derived from RED … where do you draw a line on the red not being red after gently adding yellow? and thus starting to be orange? Wiz's picture shows a robin which has a red breast much closer to accepted red THAN orange the colour is fairly accurate based on the white and is a truer representation of its actual shape …. I actually fed my local Robin this am from about 3 foot away and at this time of year is as dark reddish as it is likely to be … has nest somewhere near the corner of my garden as get quite voiciferous if I move stuff near there although can walk up and stand closeby it and he flies into the cherry tree about 10m away and sings a different tune ….
Don't I remember something about us not being able to use the coat of arms anymore ?, obviously it's a representation of a robin not an actual one, it does have clean lines and look modern, if they were going down that route though i would've preferred for the suspension bridge to be included and maybe dropped the year .
It has grown on me but still not in love with it. Can't remember who, but some fan made an amateur edit of it which included the suspension bridge, and it looked far better. Wish I could dig it out.
That was it! Made by Lew-T on OTIB. No idea why but I prefer this one so much more. https://www.otib.co.uk/uploads/mont...humb.png.9e540db69384f1c8fc4c8ecde2407a60.png
