You're not taking the piss, Hank, you're helping people with your regular good deeds, which hopefully makes you, and them, feel good :emoticon-0105-wink:

Just be very careful about the contact that you have with them . . . . you should be your priority at the moment :emoticon-0148-yes:

I agree mate, nobody is blameless as is nobody perfect. The government could have done things differently but I'm happy with the way they have slowly introduced the lockdown etc. I believe we should be focusing on the positives at a time like this though, such as people asking where are the CV success numbers and we would like to see them but unfortunately most media outlets are focusing on the negative death rate.

Something i saw was people giving their elderly or vulnerable neighbours a red and a green card.

If the green card was in the window they were fine, if the red card was in the window they needed help with something such as shopping, picking up prescriptions etc and then you call them to see what they need.

Wow! So simple yet so effective! I have a few elderly people like that in my street and when I get home, whenever that is, I think I will look at doing similar if not already done. Cheers Ozzy.

A fella I know has it and now in intensive care.

His Facebook status 2 weeks ago read “off to Benidorm anyway, don’t care about the lockdown”.

    I can't agree there mate.

I don't think focusing on that would send out the right message. There are already enough people who think they're invincible without encouraging them.

They'd be wearing 'I fought the virus and won' cap sleeved T-shirts ;)

    What more details are required?
Someone I know is in intensive care with covid-19 having 2 weeks put a status on Facebook saying he was going to Benidorm regardless of the lockdown.
Just the kind of stupidity I mentioned at the time when all the thick louts decided they knew better than the government and flouted the curfew.
It does seem to be improving over here in terms of people taking note but the selfish attitude of w@nkers initially could’ve cost thousands more lives.

Almost as if this 'man in intensive care having boasted about ignoring the guidelines' came along just at the right time to back up your rant about Brits costing thousands of lives.

It didn’t need backing up it was clear as day what was going to happen. Or perhaps I should say clear as day to anyone with even a fraction of a brain.
The problem is that he will be one of countless others who will have passed this on to sensible people who passed this onto other sensible people who then pass it onto a vulnerable person and so on.
Then again in your eyes it was unreasonable of the Spanish government to put Brits on lockdown who they’d allowed to travel over.
1000+ Deaths and counting. Doesn’t seem that unreasonable now does it.

Are these 'thick louts' like the congregation of a Spanish church, in Madrid, who had to be evicted by the police?

This is Madrid which has way more deaths, and ongoing infections, than any other region.

    "1000+ Deaths and counting" ...

... but let's blame a few Brits, in the open air, for countless deaths.

Aw I see we are back to the whataboutery again. Standard response of the ‘thickie’ brigade.
Idiots all over the world but I along with most on here live in England and whilst on lockdown they are the ones who can effect people over here myself and my family included.
A congregation in a Spanish church in Madrid which is obviously idiotic won’t effect people in England at present.

Nothing wrong with responding with a reasonable comparison.

Two examples of selfish w@ankers as you put it.

Calling it 'whataboutery' is quite infantile and doesn't make it any less relevant.

And, as for this person in intensive care ...

... it didn't happen, you're making it up and couldn't post any proof if your sad life depended on it <laugh>

And mentioning idiotic behaviour from Spaniards doesn’t make the idiotic Brits any less selfish w@nkers either.
The selfish w@nker Brits will effect me more than the selfish w@nker Spaniards.
In regards to you calling me a liar I’ll merely say ‘south Hylton’ and leave it at that. I’m pretty sure somebody at some point will have a friend of a friend etc who will have seen exactly what I’m stating and confirm it.
What a sad pathetic specimen you really are mind. Trolling me round the board all because you didn’t like my opinion on a game against Bristol Rovers.

Think my daily bottle of frosty jacks or three hammers made me immune from the virus

Can you see any self respecting virus trying to compete with the crap I drink

As I said, no you cant provide any proof and yes you're lying.

I'm not trolling you, just responding to your relentless idiotic agenda with 'Brits in Benidorm causing thousands of deaths'.

As I said someone will no doubt see the same statuses I’ve seen so your opinion is irrelevant.
Where did I say the Brits in Benidorm caused 1000s of deaths?

My opinion is perfectly relevant because I believe you're posting lies to back up your agenda.

If you could you'd post proof instead of pretending you 'won't dignify my post with a response' .... the stock answer of every internet bullshitter.

You were lumping in Brits in Benidorm and the effect it would have on people in the UK, no doubt you'll pretend you meant something else.

"Someone I know is in intensive care with covid-19 having 2 weeks put a status on Facebook saying he was going to Benidorm regardless of the lockdown.
