Benefit fraud is supposed to be one seventh of tax fraud (personal and corporate). Funnily enough, there aren’t masses of documentaries about tax fraud on Channel 5, or investigations in the Express or Mail. Strange that. :emoticon-0138-think

When this is all over.. The aim of this thread.. I will spend more time with my family and cherish them more...
Tomorrow we are doing a drop off in some woods half way between our house and our sons house.. And we will wave at our grandkids.. I just have to make very sure that Mme does not get carried away and run into their arms!

This evasion costs everyone and is a fault of lax tax legislation by governments and I agree it needs tightening up.

I very much doubt these figures are anywhere near the truth. The left like to include the successful UK lower rates of corporation tax in these figures.

By all means go after the multinationals that evade tax by moving profits abroad.

Don't let J R-M hear you talking like that or you will get your mouth washed out with soap if he can find some.

I would have fully discussed it at Shendish last week with him but unfortunately it was cancelled. I really don't want to be called in as a government adviser. :emoticon-0105-wink:

That saved you some cash then that you were able to spend on your fruit and veg box. :emoticon-0108-speec

The only two things that saved the disaster of being ripped off by the fruit and veg box was my daughter paid for it and I received confirmation my Vat refund of £7,600 for the self build was approved. I had been sweating on it as I claimed past the required date although I wrote them a rather nice letter.

Typical Tory. Acts when it is almost too late, and hopes that by some fluke he might get away with it.

Oh, Mr head, you are such a joy! How could you be described so often as a dullard? You exude such class...

They only allow 3 months, for some reason I thought it was 6 months. They must have thought my perfectly good explanation suffice. It will no doubt keep the wine store topped up during the lock in.

Given that carbon emissions from travel are going to be lower for a few months, I wonder if we will see any improvement in climate change or as significantly less amount of C02 in the atmosphere.

It would be great for the UK to produce more but our friends in the EU depend greatly on our market. The Spanish and Italians cannot afford to lose any business.
