Running through woods with friends when I was a kid, got stung 13 times, my brother suffered 27. We spent the majority of the summer killing Wasps when they landed on the empty coke cans at the park. Soon after I had an epiphany. They didn't want to sting, they were protecting the nest. Fair play, we all do the same. Haven't killed one since. Then when you learn what they actually do, it makes you realise that you are attacking nature, not this little insect with warning stickers plastered all over it. They are crucial pollinators. Help them by leaving old fruit at the bottom of garden, don't kill them for wanting that pint of sugar stinking rattler!

I've been invited to apply for Furlough leave. Of course it's not mandatory but I would be insane not to take it TBH. Working from home is not an option in my line of work so looks like 2 months of doing sweet **** all. And I'm not relishing the prospect believe me. Going to work was giving me some normality.

    Don’t knock it.
I would love to be furloughed, simply because my wife is extremely vulnerable, but it appears that “key” workers are not allowed to be furloughed.
I am hoping that this is an oversight, in the rush to get something in place, and that common sense, and decency, will correct this.
Any time I take off, to self isolate in order to protect my wife, will be unpaid.
In your case, is it just some workers being furloughed, hence you being asked to apply for it? It’s not mandatory, but would the other choice be redundancy?
    Take it with both hands.

At the moment it is some workers. I may have been insensitive to your current predicament, I apologise. I should count myself lucky I get that financial security.

    Controllers got smashed tonight.
Bossing this guy 2-0 on fifa , he gets a man sent off . His players suddenly get super powers and and mine seem basically lose the will to live , he wins 3-2 .

I just went to the supermarket and saw a guy purchase a piñata, paella and a sombrero.

    I thought to myself:

Worse than that, it was like they all contracted corona and down syndrome within their half time orange. Fifa can **** off. I could of stabbed someone happily.

Just go on career mode and hammer a couple of teams - that will make you feel better. My Saints team has a 96 rated Sancho, 95 rated Felix and they just annihilate anyone. Beat Liverpool 6-1 at Anfield. That was fun. :D
