How will the world look and how will your outlook on the world be?

Make you think **** it I’m sacking it all in and doing my bucket list while I have chance?
Make you want to change job and do what youve always wanted to do?

how will society change? For the better hopefully obviously. But how.
What can we do to make politicians change to do what we want. as this is bigger than politics.
Will travel be the same again?
Will services. I hope it will give the feeling of being valued back to ordinary jobs. When I first started work the cleaner was given as much respect as the manager. I think weve lost all that
And become a dog eat dog world where no one gives a **** about each other.

    feel free...

My outlook has changed.... I was saving like **** to retire, now I no longer want to retire.
Work less yes, but zero interest in fully retiring.
Was hoping to retire in 6 years at 50 - sitting around all day with no work, flashbacks to lockdown in 2020 lol

I don't think anything will be the same for a very long time. However, working from home and shopping on line will be much more popular. Flying is likely to be much more expensive as half the airlines will go bust.
Retired two years ago and the best thing about it is no more ****ing commuting. Sit around all day?, I don't know how I found time to work!

Hopefully the NHS will be looked on in a different way by the politicians. If not then all this **** they're giving about thanking and backing the NHS is just that....****!!!

    Pay rise for the NHS.

I'm keeping my head down, and hoping that when this is over they forget about calling me back to work.

It will be a different world... there's no escaping that. I can see us still standing apart in supermarket queues, as Chazz said holiday prices will go through the roof as will travel insurance. Maybe this will make us healthier, walking more, running more, cycling more. I hope the NHS is prioritised in this country and that many many more will look at it as a great occupation that pays a wage which allows them to be in it. I hope some of the retuning retired folk are afforded the opportunity to continue on a whatever days they want to do basis. That doesn't just go for the NHS but all forces personnel. I have noticed more of a camaraderie surrounding this (unless you go to The Range) and I hope it continues. I hope it makes people realise that the older generation still have a wonderful place in society. I hope that every front line person lost to this terrible virus is honoured in a new way, with some sort of medal like an MBE so that their families can honour their sacrifice. I hope that anyone who's been out there is given a bonus by the government, no matter how small as a thank you... I hope that when the dust settles a Street Party Day is announced so that everyone can come out in the sunshine and thank that we are still here...

How long will it be before it's acceptable to cough and sneeze in public?

I used to cough to cover my farts, now I fart to cover my cough.

Things I will appreciate more, in no particular order of importance.
The pub, all pubs, meeting mates for an away day and doing and going where we want, Football Saturdays, waking up knowing today is a football day, the night before a football day, going to work, meeting family, spending time with my 4 year old granddaughter, taking her out on her scooter, picking her up from school, Cafes, places serving all you can eat all day breakfasts, meals out, walks out where places are open, popping in local shops, **** shopping on line, having something to do which doesn't include hoovering up or 'have you done the bathroom', having choice......
If retirement ( and I've tried it once and it was) is spent aimlessly watching the clock and sat on your arse thinking of what menial task you can do next until your next meal, daytime tv, and staring out of the window, then you can shove it.

I'd like to see an end to celebrity culture and a massive toning down of wokeness.

I don't know what to say here really. I want every member of my family to still be here.

My eldest niece is pregnant and living in London, I want to be able to talk football with him (Yay he's a boy <cheers>) and kick a ball around with him.

And in my best miss World voice... I want peace love and understanding x

I worked somewhere where two people left at different times and continued to be paid for at least 9 months after leaving. The organisation was trying to get the money back, but had had no joy when I retired (but unfortunately the buggers didn't keep paying me a wage, only the pension)

Not first hand, but I know of someone that was suspended on full pay for a relatively minor incident, and then got forgotten about for over five years.

Well I don't mind saying, My daughter lives in London she works as a primary school teacher. She caught the virus nearly three weeks ago. I'm a proud dad anyway. She went out for her first walk today after recovering, what I'm trying to say is the small things in life certainly look more important and not taken for granted as we did.

    Stay safe everyone.
